Twinbird Zabady music player is water-resistant

tbird_4.jpgHere comes rescue from Japan for those who love to listen to music in the bathtub or at the swimming pool. The Twinbird’s water proof MP3/WMA/CD player dubbed as Zabady is here what I’m referring to. The most useful feature is a USB port inside the sealed case that allows the Zabady to play back tunes from a connected drive of up to 2GB. Here’s a more splashing feature - the IPX7 waterproofing means the player is not only splash-resistant, but can also survive immersion in 1m of water for up to half an hour. So I guess it doesn’t matter if you accidentally drop it on the tub and then forget about it too. BUT pray to god that you realize before it’s too late. It also sports an LCD for displaying track information from digital files. All juiced up this portable music player can dole out tunes for about four hours.

Lush introduces Palm oil free soap base

Lush_soap.jpg
All of us who use soap on their body, must certainly know that some of the Soaps contains palm oil which is quite hazardous to the environment. To make way for Palm oil plantations, the existence of wild orangutans is being threatened in Sumatra, native people are being driven out of their land, and peat fired used for clearing plantations on land end up being the largest contributor to the emissions of CO2 in the atmosphere. Who wants all this? Probably cosmetic company Lush, learned of these perilous episodes to create something nature-friendly.

Book of lights makes for a brilliant design

Book_of_lights.jpg
Lights are always associated with books and vice versa. Both can’t do without each other, so why not bind them together? Lights have always been an “illuminating factor” in my life and changing the lighting arrangement in my house every now and then is my favorite hobby. Imagine opening a book to find a cute little lamp inside it. Yeah! This is exactly what I’m talking about. When you open this coffee-table book, and twist the cleverly folded pages, you will find a glowing Victorian lamp inside. This nifty design is powered by a low voltage adaptor and is also available in a miniature streetlamp version. You can take this portable lamp for a vacation and study from two books at the same time! A little too geeky right?
