LG gets inspired by Ice Cream
With the summer looming ahead, hot days and sweaty armpits are due; so what better way to combat the heat than announcing the LG-LH5000 Ice Cream Phones. Theses really cool phones (no pun intended) feature ice cream inspired colors with LED lighting. The pastel-toned lights flash during an incoming call and the orange colored LED light emote cute emoticons such as heart and smiling face are displayed on the front panel. Specs include a 2.2-inch color screen with QVGA resolution, email receiving, video telephony, electronic dictionary function, 2M camera and more.

Human C&C recently launched ‘Cellink T/M’ which incorporates USB micro SD card reader and mobile charger. The deivce launched in the Korea Market can be used as a portable storage device in the slide mode and a mobile charger in a swing mode. The reader also provides you an ultra portable way to move photos, video clips, music and other files from PC to Mobile or Vice versa. Inspired by the Indian festival of colours, Kenzo introduces a limited-edition fragrance named Amour Indian Holi. With a musky floral fragrance, the rose and red berries add a joyful twist to the gentle rice, musk and firangipani blossom notes of Kenzo Amour. The original and widely popular original Amour scent was reworked by perfumers Daphne Bugey and Olivier Cresp to create this delightful new scent. What makes it different from the first Kenzo Amour are the additions of rose essence, pink pepper, peony and vanilla. As the creators said, “It becomes more colourful with the notes of rose essence, pink pepper and peony.” The bottle in which the perfume is held is also getting a lot of attention. The shape of the bottle is striking with the added dimension and the beautiful blend of fuchsia, red, and orange brings out what the perfume is trying to represent. The gold Indian lettering adds to the class.
Women and Technology
And you thought only men were tech friendly! A new report on the tech habits of women shows that the women are coming at par with men the areas of DVR use and ownership of portable game devices. This statement is born out of a study done independently by Solutions Research Group to explore the "digital lifestyles" of American women. The Solutions Research Group collected data from more than 2,000 respondents between October 2006 and February 2008. What the final tally shows is that women are as comfortable with popular consumer technology as men. For example, the Research Group characterises women who own DVRs as much "more enthusiastic" about them than men. One of the main reasons for that is also because women spend 56 percent of their TV-watching time viewing time-shifted content on their DVR. Men spend 42 percent of their time using their DVRs. The discrepancy between the two has a lot to do with the type of shows men and women watch, according to Kaan Yigit, the research Group’s Director of Syndicated Studies.
