Just another chopping board named Space invader

This is so stupid. To name something as a space invader that has a single functionality of vegetables to be chopped on it, is lame. It just a couple of randomly designed squares on a plain wooden frame. This handmade wooden cutting board was crafted by 1337motif using individual "pixels" of walnut and hard maple, and glued with FDA approved waterproof glue. The whole thing is then sealed with mineral oil and beeswax.
Slide to Unlock Tee sends wrong signals across

This is a wrong indicator. A super sexy tee might surely grab attention of some perverts around. Well the tech concept to recharge yourself with a bold tag-line like this is fun at times. This will be talk-about apparel amongst friends but when around elders, you better look-out.
Eco-friendly denim jacket

Lunar designed jacket is a new trend adopted by designers this year. The Blu Jacket is a design concept that uses flexible organic e-paper to show passersby your mood, subway maps as you see here, or can even play video advertisements to annoy (or enlighten) everyone in sight. Reminding us of Blade Runner, it's a concept that could be used for good or ill. We like the idea of electronic fabric, but if this jacket is actually constructed anytime soon, it will cost tens of thousands of dollars. So what? That's what we like about design concepts — creators can be as optimistic as they dare.
Single seated performance water cycle

Well just another motor boat. This is the single-seat water cycle that combines the exhilarating experience of riding a recumbent bicycle with the smooth water displacement of an open-topped kayak, allowing you to navigate smoothly around lakes, harbors, and ocean inlets. Appropriate for those wishing for a relaxing cruise or a vigorous workout, the craft has an efficient, smooth pedal crank that uses an 8:1 gear ratio to drive a 15" two-blade propeller through the water, allowing you to reach a speed of up to 7 MPH--as fast as an Olympic swimmer and faster than typical paddle boats. An aluminum recumbent bicycle frame extends from the hull, providing a sturdy platform for its cushioned adjustable bicycle seat, allowing you to achieve an optimal pedaling position. The cycle frame separates from the hull for easy transport. Highly responsive turning is provided by a rudder controlled by the frame's adjustable handlebars; stopping and reverse are accomplished by pedaling backward. The craft's fiberglass-covered, high-density foam core hull is buoyant, seamless, and leak proof, with precisely-balanced integral pontoons for a stable ride, even in waves as high as 3".

Clean the public urinals with the Elephantine urinal robot in Kobe Japan

These huge cleansing robots are known as elephantine e'pissoir. They are about 100kg and might possibly consume more place than a person in the urine. Ok, it is hard to imagine how shoving and wrestling the 100kg DCBA robot into position would be a savings in labor. In the top photo, the DCBA robot dwarfs the operator girl. However, the company claims the machine cleans one urinal in 10 seconds and saves eight liters of water in the process. The robots are intended for the cleaning operations of large institutions including highway rest areas and public restrooms of railroads.

Topless Panama hat

This is the only type of hat I have spotted, which doesn’t serve the purpose for which it is made! The crownless Panama Hat made using traditional Ecuadorian construction methods, does not protect your head, but instead it’s wide brim provides 360º of sun protection for your face and neck with a UPF rating of 50+. It is hand-woven in Ecuador from bleached leaves of Carludovica Palmata or Toquilla Palm, the traditional plant fiber used to make Panama hats since they were first discovered by North Americans in the early 1900’s during construction of the Panama canal.
Shoes with a Stair counter: Technology over the top

This is a totally vague and incomprehensive leap in the world of fashion and technology. A pair of horrendously high heel boots comes with an integrated stair counter screwed onto the ankle. The first thought that crosses our minds, ‘Isn’t this the same mechanism used gym machines?’ But that pretty much doesn’t imply that you run up your staircase just to count some swollen steps. But if you may have some keen interest in trying eccentric exercises, you might want to look out for them in September. Charlie’s Angel anyone?
Mural Dishwasher washes your dishes and stores them

Doing dishes takes a lot of time and labor, even if you have a dishwasher at home. It happens so because you lose out more energy on relocating the dishes to their storage rack than manually doing them. Student designers Marie-Christine Lacasse and Marie Claude Savard from University of Montreal in Quebec thought of putting this inefficient system out of place by coming up with Mural Dishwasher concept. The ‘Wraparound’ washer has a disciplined and serial order of doing your rack full of dirty dishes. It starts and slides along the length of the rack cleaning as it moves forward.
Japanese Fast Dehydrator does laundry in an archaically futuristic way

Our present two-bedroom apartments sometimes too small to accommodate a huge washing machine integrated with a dryer. Both of these singled out causes more dreadful congestion of cloths line and dry laundry. But it certainly doesn’t instigate us to go back to the traditional method of Solar dry in the outside (If in case you happen to have a Balcony) The Somela Fast Dehydrator is a device that can dry your cloths in just 3-5 minutes, without using heat technology which is capable of damaging the delicate cloths.

Kitchen Toys get Popular

There’s been a boom in the toy kitchen line ever since the Chuboo line of fun kitchen tools caught our eye. Major toy companies like Bandai and Takara Tomy have put out their share of toy like kitchen appliances last year and have plans in the works to release more this year. Bandai scored big with its Cook Joy series, featuring the Norimaki Mak-ki that costs ¥2,940 ($28 USD). This is a device that helps small, uncoordinated fingers roll out near-perfect sushi rolls, and the Ichi Ni Sando that costs ¥3,150 ($ 30 USD) sandwich press, which makes fun shaped “sandwiches” out of bread or rice. Meanwhile Takara Tomy had a hit with its Sugar Bunnies-themed Ice Cooking ¥4,200 ($ 40 USD) ice cream maker last summer and now has plans to release an Onigiri (rice ball) Party ¥3,675 ($35 USD) making kit with the same character images soon.
