Accessories made of Excess Barbie Fabric and Trimmings

barbie_bcause.jpg Talk about being environment friendly. Mattel has apparently come up with a collection of accessories called Barbie BCause that is the company’s new and playful trendy collection of hats and bags that they released just in time to celebrate Earth Day. That is kind of ironic considering Barbie dolls themselves are made out of plastic and are pre-packaged in more plastic and none of this is the kind of plastic that you can re-cycle! And of course it is no secret that plastic is not exactly the most environment friendly material!

LED Dog Tags Anyone?

LED_dog_tag.jpg
I’ve always wondered why one would be called a geek if they used some funky technological stuff. Like this LED dog tag for example. Although, if you buy this dog tag knowing it has no other purpose apart from having you show off that your dog is wearing a tag that has lights embedded on it – you are more of a geek than I gave you credit for! like most LED gadgets these days, the dog tags are animated and customisable. The original ones which were introduced sometime earlier were red, now the latest ones that have just come up are in blue and are only available in limited quantities!

The cutest hangers ever!

hangers1.jpg
Now if I were to find a reason to squeal over how cute a product is, this would probably be that product. Then again, that is also because I have a special love for hangers which I do not think I will ever have enough off. Of course that feeling is attributed to the fact that I also feel that I will never have enough clothes. Yes I am a female writer! Anyway the hanger product I am talking about comes in your size of adult or youth. And with such a happy design on the hangers, one can’t help but feel that a happy sunny day is ahead of then. Call me superstitious but I think happy hangers can make peoples days. Now you just think I’m downright nuts don’t you. Maybe I am!

Buy a USB based on how cute they are!

ridata.jpg Now here is a product that really does not do anything spectacular. No extra features, nothing special about it, some might even think the white is tacky but at the end of the day, they are kind of cute and thus have made it to this page. I am talking about the EZ Junior 2GB Flash Driver with the design of a boy on one side and a girl on the other. Why it was designed like that one has no idea. Maybe it was to symbolize that this USB drive could be used by both men and women as opposed to all the previously sexist drives.

A Woman’s Best Friend

sheer_bliss.jpg
To counter the topic above – what is possibly woman’s worst enemy at a party or at the workplace – her high heels. Often after a hard night of partying at dancing or even a long day at work, walking around in heels can be a problem and slipping into something comfortable is something that falls under the ‘wishful thinking’ category. Well, not anymore for sure! Typsy Feet is the newest shoe that can take care of that wish. These shoes are small enough to be folded and fit into your handbag and at the end of the night you can take them out and slip them right on! The bag that you carry these slip ons in convert into a bag large enough to carry your high heels! Now that’s what you call muti-functional!

Samsung's new French Door Refrigerator is the largest so far

largest_french_door_refrigerator_1.jpg
The latest French Door Refrigerator is vying for the world's largest spot with a volume of 29-cubic-feet and 16% increase in useable space while keeping the same form. Model RFG297 manages extra volume within the same overall size by using high-rate urethane insulation technology which reduces wall thickness from 2.04 inches to 1.38 inches and provides an extra 4 cubic feet of storage or 16%. Specs include the company's Twin Cooling Plus System, this allows the main body and the freezer section to be cooled separately so that odors from the compartments do not mix. Features include an external filtered water and ice dispenser, wine rack, power freeze and power cool functions, a door alarm, LED lighting and is 2008 Energy Star Rated - which is 20% more energy efficient than the standard DOE requirement for refrigerators.

LG's Toaster Microwave saves space in crammed kitchens

lg-toaster-oven-combo.jpg
I have one of those convection microwaves that combines the browning element so that you can bake in the micro, but adding a compartment that allows you to toast your bread really takes me by surprise. I wonder what new name will LG come up with for this one, Toastwave…Microtoaster…why don't you venture a guess. Tell us what you would name this contraption; leave your answers in the comment box after the jump. Let's see who comes out with the wackiest one.

Human Orifice Jewelry that gets your guts in your neck

human-orifice-jewelry_1.jpg
Now you can wear your kidney, guts, liver and other exterior parts like hands and legs as a ring or a pendant. Taiwanese designer Yuyen Chang makes jewelry that mimics human anatomy. Her "Orifice" collection includes pins, pendants, and rings made with flesh color material and metal and shaped to represent the various shapes and openings of the human body. The attractive "Orifice" jewelry collection is decidedly bold in its uniqueness and should be able to provide for a very good piece of very interesting conversation at gatherings.

Richard Branson marries in space

branson-astromos.jpg
This is craziness. But a lovely way to portray your love to someone whom you care for. Richard Branson says he's looking to make it possible for couples to get married in space and he wants to be the one who performs the ceremony. "The couple who have booked in for a honeymoon on the $199433-a-ticket maiden flight are Virgin Galactic adviser George Whitesides and his new wife, Loretta Hidalgo," the Daily Mail says. The 58-year-old billionaire thrives on innovation and loves to do things before anyone else, which is why he hopes to be the world's first person to marry someone in the world's first galactic wedding. "We have had two bookings involving marriage, one to get married in space and the other for the couple to have their honeymoon in space," said a Virgin Galactic spokesperson. "It is possible that Richard could obtain a license to conduct the marriage." "Customers will have a two-hour flight, go up to 70 miles above the Earth and experience amazing views of the planet, G forces and weightlessness after a three-day training programme."

Auto Healther Reiz DZ-270 takes care of your body from head to toe

auto-healther-reiz.jpg
This is like a cabin at home, well, a horizontal one though. Sometimes, I feel it is a dentist's chair. But this cabin plays wonders. It caresses your body from head to toe. This is Dainichi's body massaging robot. The beauty of this system is it automatically adapts its speed and pressure to the body part it's massaging. Our little wonder also features a built-in audio system, touch-screen LCD display, and will warm-up your body.

Solar Breeze Pool Skimmer

solar-breeze-pool-skimmer.jpg
Just as the time for spring cleaning draws near, we have a whole new experience of holiday chores on our way. There are those of us who sit back to clean up closets and mow the lawns. But there are a lucky few who prefer clearing the surface of their pools of the fallen leaves. The difference in the pleasure derived from the chore is that this one offers you some mindless wanderings in your pool and at the same time, being solar charged, it doesn't need you to watch out for wasting power. It keeps the atmosphere and your conscience clean as far as polluting is considered.
