Shutter shades: Sunglasses without glasses

sunglass_1.jpg
Ever since I’ve seen Kanye West’s video ‘Stronger’, I’ve been obsessed with the Shutter shades, which don’t have lenses. You can call them shades in their true honor, as they literally live up to their name. The bars on the plastic frames provide shade to the wearer while still allowing sufficient light through them. It might be a product of the fashion rotation of the 80’s, but as always, we need an initiator to revive the style, as this time done by socialite Paris Hilton. They cool, funky and flaunt themselves in several shades like White, Black, Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Orange, Purple, Sky Blue, Clear and glow in the dark.

Rainbow LED lights

Rainbow_LED_1.jpg
The pretty rainbow reveals itself only when nature’s bounties rub shoulders with each other. Often when it occurs, I stay stranded watching it fade into clouds. Now you could not only trap the rainbow in your bedroom, but also have the opportunity to keep staring at it till you go colorblind. Rainbow in My Room is a great night light for kids or for setting a romantic evening. Rainbow In My Room uses five LED colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Purple) and a curved mirrored surface to project a beautiful vivid rainbow on your ceiling and walls.

Notebook desk with built-in speakers and fan

speaker-desk.jpg
If you have a latest version of lappie, you also need the latest version of computer desk to match it up. Think about it, your suave new computer must be terribly ashamed of being seated on the dusky old wooden desk. You may have a hard time parting ways with old desk along with the old memories, but it’s time you provide your computer with the Notebook desk with built-in 2.1 speakers and Cooling fans. You can play music all day long when you’re working and let the fan cool it down by blowing some fresh air. The desk is compatible with Win 98 SE, Win ME, Win 2000, Win XP, Win Vista, & MAC OS9/OSX.

GPS teddy bear tells you the way

robot_teddy.jpg Belying everything that gadgets stand for, this GPS device is far from the cold, sleek, stiff form factor that we usually associate a GPS device with. The robotic teddy bear has been created by iXs Research Corporation and it tells you directions plus points out the way too. The prototype robot stands 30 centimeters (1 ft) tall and has 6 joints in its arms and neck. It doubles up as an alcohol sensor too and urges safety by issuing statements like "You haven't been drinking, have you?" apparently the teddy is high on safety and detects reckless driving, so if the driver suddenly accelerates or slams on the brakes, the robot says, "Watch out!" Pet the teddy on its head and it will blurt out the nearest landmark for you.

iCooly helps you untouch your iPod touch

iCooly_1.jpg
One of the factors that distinguish your iPod touch from the TV is you having to hold it. It’s particularly problematic when your only past time while commuting is that pretty little iTouch in your aching fingers. Just when you were reluctantly putting it aside, RockRidge came up with the aluminum stand for the iPod touch, the iCooly. (Sound like partners, don’t they?) When you insert your iPod into the stand by simple pressure, you can watch your favorite video by rotating it 90 degrees.

‘Fun’ Hair hats can get hideous

hair-hats_1.jpg
It is quite customary for a lady’s hat to be elegant, but these ones right here are the exact reverse of the mentioned term. The hair hats here are not a simple Cowboy hat or a Panama hat, they’re hats featuring animals on it (and strands or artificial hair along with it) They cover most of the domestic animals along with a few wild ones too. You could walk liberally wearing these on a runway or an animal theme party.(I doubt that too) Give me a break! How can you have fun with an ugly accessory like that?

Ran’s Night Body Rhythm monitor for women

body_rhythm_monitor_1.jpg
Japan has been quite forward in terms of Body health monitors for keeping count of body fat or body age. But the Ran’s Night is a new concept that monitor’s women’s monthly cycles. It uses QR codes to capture the data for analysis by monitoring subtle changes in body temperature and displays the previous night’s temperature on screen. It integrates the data of the previous night as well the previous week and the long-term picture can be procured online. Few of the stats could be read on the device itself, but a detailed, long-term summary can be obtained by PC on Ran’s story. The device is operated by scanning the Daily QR codes on the screen which then inputs the night’s data into her personal profile and creates graphs and charts along with other information such as weight input manually. In the long run, this helps to monitor the monthly cycles, future period strengths, PMS, ovulation and other related events.

Kompressor Luggage concept to squeeze your overstuffed bags

overtstuffed_bags_1.jpg
Unfortunately, this is just a concept. The idea here is to squeeze your overtlystuffed luggage bags by 40% and make them easy to carry. This bag uses seatbelt like straps to compress its volume by nearly 40%. The space savings means you can take it as carry-on luggage, especially helpful since some airlines now charge for check-ins. The center dial does double duty by keeping your contents locked up and as a ninja star when needed.

Missmoustache Water Spill Camouflage Fashion

water_spill_1.jpg
Is that water spilled on your t-shirt…No that’s a fashion..Kool
Introducing a new trend that shows shabbily and messily dressed outfits as a designer statement. Spanish designer missmoustache that disguises your water spills as part of the design. The agua vaª t-shirt creatively features an upside down water bottle without its cap, making the wet stains you get on your t-shirt a natural part of the design. I love the witty idea and the simple execution.

Chair & Hanger concept invite crime

chair_hanger.jpg
Most of the products around are working to evade burglary & crime, but the Chair & Hanger concept encourages it further. It’s a chair with 2 hangers at the top of the backrest (where you don’t have an extra pair of eyes) either for the handbag or Coat. This concept is so ineffective that even a GPS tracker added to a bag wouldn’t’ make a difference. I’d rather go to a classy conventional restaurant where they accept your Coat and purse at the entrance. Did I mention that the chair looks funny with the two Antlers popping out?
