Sony's Graphic Splash contest- A great platform to showcase your talent.

sony-expression.jpg
Got talent? Wanna showcase it? Try taking part in Sony's Graphic Splash contest. Graphic Splash is Sony's line-up of art-slathered notebooks, and it's the company's single coolest project going. It's teaming up with Microsoft to find new designs for the series, and is inviting "consumers" to send in their creations. Whether they are having this contest due to lack of creative people with them or to simply publicize their new line remains a mystery, but is surely a win-win situation for whoever wins this contest.

Voice Thermo...For lazy bones who don't want to read!

voice_thermo.jpg
Technology is gonna make this planet a place full of lazy bones who would start believing that moving a muscle to work is actually the most tedious thing in the whole universe. What else would you think, if told, that Voice Thermo is invented simply to rid people of going through the trouble of reading the temperature on the LED display. This new model from Pro-Idee will actually tell you the current temperature reading and all you have to do is place the sensor on your forehead and using infra-red technology the thermometer will provide an accurate reading (± 0.2 °C) in just 1.5 seconds.

Fujifilm FinePix Z20 digital camera...all talk!

fujifilm_digicam.jpg
Fujifilm's new digital camera is cool enough for us anyway, so I guess they dont need to scream from the rooftops that there is a social network / marketing campaign attached to it. So, here is the dope on what exactly does the campagin do and does it really help. I think not. Fujifilm on thursday launched ZSpotNow.com, a site constructed using the social networking tool Ning. ZSpotNow is ostensibly a community for owners of the Fujifilm FinePix Z20 digital camera, but Fujifilm is using it to promote a series of events like a pro skating competition, a Z20-logo designing contest, and a video-making contest asking members to record clips of themselves speaking about trends in fashion and technology (??).

Professional bingo calling box- Have the money? Splurge!

bingo-calling-box.jpg
A professional bingo calling box is what I'm about to discuss for the next minute or so. There actually exists a simple to use and highly effective Professional Bingo Calling Box, that clearly displays the selected number to the your tense audience, ensuring that no numbers are misinterpreted. If you are myopic, its no big deal as it displays large enough for even the shortest of eyesight’s.

Mirror Art wall hood by Faber!

mirror-art.jpg
Decorative hoods now have a new competitor in the role of Mirror Art wall hood by Faber. Its USP is the elegant shape of Mirror that has been created according to its function and highlights its ergonomics and ease-of-use. I am a sucker for all things that work by just a press of the button and Mirror Art wall hood is no exception to that. At a simple finger touch you can open electronically the upper panel so that all sort of unpleasant odours effectively and silent expelled.

Voltaic Generator Laptop bag...Wake up before the sun goes down!

voltaic_generator_bag.jpg
I think the Voltaic Generator Laptop bag is jinxed as it just doesn't seem to hit the market. Voltaic’s Generator Solar bag is one of the most environmental hugging laptop bags you could ever own. Next to the solar power capturing and storing in Voltaic’s own power pack, the bag is made from fabrics out of recycled PET. Like all the other solar bags this generator too comes with its pack of standard adapters for common cell phones and other handheld devices. The Generator also includes common laptop adapters.

Stainless steel Accolade coffee maker

coffee-maker.jpg
Coffee is a necessity for me, seriously, I cannot function without my dose of caffeine. That's why I've been on the look out for a nice coffee machine for my home. Accolade has come up with something that is really neat. It is completely automatic, 45 cm, has three cup size settings, three temperature settings, 1.8 litre removable water tank, milk frother, coffee grinder and 200 gram coffee bean capacity. Whew, that's a crazy amount of features for 45 cms. And you think we are done? Think again. it also has push button controls, digital display, rotary steam valve control dial, auto system rinse function, auto system decalcification function, programmable auto switch on, adjustable auto switch off, removable drip tray, removable waste coffee container and white LED lighting. Another thing I like about is the stylish stainless steel finish. If you are interested in this coffee machine by accolade, be ready with £1,000.

Sound Ball Speaker makes a funky iPod accessory

ipod_ball_speaker_1.jpg
I am completely into collecting funky/weird shaped speakers. These colourful ball-shaped iPod speakers are definitely catchy and need to be a part of my ever growing collection. The Zumreed Sound Ball has internal batteries that are charged through USB ports. These balls kind of remind me of christmas and give me that overall happy feeling. However, I'll be sure to not hang them on a christmas tree, instead attach them to a bag or keychain then plug them into my iPod for some quality music time.

Get your USB port to power Fairy Lights

office-fairy-lights.jpg
Ok, I'll admit it. I like pretty twinkling lights with wings that can be called fairies. Ever since the day I heard of the Tooth Fairy, I've been fascinated. Baron Bob has introduced Office Fairy Lights for the computer. They are incredibly mesmerising and add that cutesy factor to any computer. However, I'm not sure if I'd display them anywhere except in the confines of my house. You can bring these fairies to life by powering them through your computer's USB port.

Colourful mushroom vacuum cleaners

mushroom-vac-cleaner.jpg
What's with all the Mario mechandise floating around these days? Admittedly, I this this isn't official Mario gear, but it closely resembles it, and I sure as hell ain't complaining. I almost felt the same joy I did everytime I saw an 1up when I laid eyes on these cute mushroom vacuum cleaners. They might not be the toughest and meanest vacuum cleaners in the market that can suck up almost anything, but they sure are the most adorable. If you are a true Mario fan, you are going to want these babies in your house. And you know what's really cool? This time, the merchandise actually has some use!

Colourful L201 digital camera to be introduced by Samsung

Sam_cameras.jpg
I dislike silver digital cameras with a passion, can you get any more generic. So, I was delighted to look at Sansung's newest range of colourful L201. It comes in a choice of five hot colours, 10.2 megapixels, 3x optical zoom 1600 ISO, and a 2.7 inch screen. Wow, talk about being loaded with features. And you know what is the best thing about it? It comes at a very affordable price of £129. Now, don't think that just because it is low budget, Samsung has compromised on other features. It includes auto red eye correction, face detection and an Auto Contrast Balance (ACB). Now there is no way that your pictures will be blurry and with shadows when the light is low. I suffer the shaky hand syndrome, so I'm glad they feature Image Stabilisation. The camera records MJPEG quality video at 30 frames per second, and there you'll be happy to know there are many shoot modes. Samsung's L201 comes out in August, so pick a colour and be ready.
