Lauren Merkin, has a long held reputation of designing bags with an amusing look. Now she’s back with a bang through the Lucy clutch, which is exactly what I wanted, to team up with my favorite beige summer outfit. It’s simple, and not over-embellished like other clutches, which is what I like about the bag. Other features that I admire about the clutch are its tapering ‘Boat’ look and the eyelet details. It’s priced at $250.

Here’s another iPod speaker are your disposal that hooks on to your iPod Nano, Classic or Touch. The Neoneco Swing speakers from Korea provides (ear-splitting) sound at a battery life of 10 hours, which seems good enough for a YouTube and video addict like me. It’s got a separate power source, which is okay, but I think the Snap on concept is pretty cool. Unfortunately it sells only in Korea and hasn’t entered the US markets as yet. You can get rid of your dangling wires with the Nano, Classic or Touch for $29, $32 and $36 respectively.

I thought eyes were pretty much only to see things and sometimes express your emotions. But seems that eye movements have found another calling. Nah, I don't mean beckoning someone over, nothing as simple as that. Hold your breath, you can now use your eyes to control your MP3 player. At the Wireless Japan Expo in Tokyo, a company called NTT Docomo displayed a technology called EOG (electro-oculogram) that allows a user to control not only MP3 players, but other electronics as well. The device at the moment looks bizarre like something from a bad sci-fi movie. We are sure in the future it will be given a more practical and aesthetically sound form.
The 'Chatterly' is pretty only at first glance
Pink and black is my favourite combination. Also, recently I've taken a liking to frills. They just seem to be making a comeback as is everything retro. Looking at the 'Chatterley' satchel by be and d had me slightly interested. Mainly, because its pink leather frill and black background caught my eye. However, on careful inspection it looks a little too trashy. Still, if you are into the Paris Hilton type dress code, you can purchase Chatterly at Jake for $795.

Personally, I've never been a big of any political issues. American politics however have been a source of great controversies and some amusements in the recent years. Now that Bush is to be replaced, many people have their favourites picked out. If your money is on Obama, then here's something of interest to you.
