Sex and the City iPod speakers

iPod_speaker.jpg
What girl hasn't enjoyed the hit HBO series 'Sex and the City'. It has been one of the most popular shows and has a huge fan following. The four women have a list of items branded with their name, especially lingerie but we won't be talking about that. I'm here to discuss the Sex and the City: GraytLittleSpeaker, which is a portable speaker for the iPod. You can show off your love for the show where ever you go with your iPod now. I love the hot pink it comes in and the trademark picture of high heels and a martini glass. Also, you need no batteries to run these speakers.

Your very own ATM at home

own-ATM.jpg
An ATM machine in your house? Is that ever possible? Apparently, now it is. Technology really is scaling new heights isn't it? I love the thought of not having to run down to an ATM everytime I need cash only to have it say that is is temporarily out of service. Nothing annoys me more. A cash spewing machine is not allowed to be out of service! This handy little ATM machine seems to be the new avataar of piggy banks. Every time you make a deposit the ATM keeps a running total giving you an account balance you can keep tabs on on a regular basis. Withdrawing money couldn't be easier, just pop the card in the slot, enter your PIN and select the amount you need. All this sounds simple, but it makes me a bit weary. It can't really be all this easy, after all it is a type of banking. We won't know until we use one I guess. The mini home ATM costs $25.

Rolling tote bags from Gogogear

gogogear_bags_1.jpg
Tote bags are cool because I love to dump all my stuff in them. Unfortunately this does make my bag extremely heavy and tough to lug around. That's why I was thrilled to see Gogogear's new line of rolling travel/laptop tote bags for women at the WSA Show in Las Vegas, July 28-30, 2008. Besides being super stylish, they offer some very convenient features like two outside pockets for cell phones and water bottles, a padded compartment for a laptop, an id tag, coin purse and inside key holder. Sounds like a lot huh? I'm seriously considering getting myself one of these.

A super stylish clutch by Cynthia Rowley

two_tone_clutch_1.jpg
Besides hobos, clutches are my bags of choice. Lydia Two-tone Croc Embossed clutch by Cynthia Rowley is super awesome. It is classy enough to be taken to work and dinner yet casual enough to carry on ordinary trips to the super market or where ever. I love the colour combinations available, but don't you think the red and beige wins hands down? The zipper gives this clutch spunk and the contrasting trim gives it style. And if you are on the go a lot, you will be thrilled to know that it comes with a thin shoulder strap that converts it into a pseudo messenger bag. Lydia Two-tone Croc Embossed clutch is priced at $225 and you can get yours at nordstorm.com. I know I'm dying to get one.

Unusual Jewellery resembles bones

unusual_jewelry.jpg
These days turning size zero and having your bones stick out has become a fashion statement. This is clear by an unusual piece of jewellery that is designed in CAD by students of Temple University students. It is a really bizarre looking thing that takes you closer to being a skeleton. It is cleverly named "Vertebrae" and made of glass-filled nylon. I just cannot imagine anyway adorning this crazy bony jewellery except on halloween or unless they are 'cuh-razy'. I have no idea if its up for sale, I certainly hope not.

Shake to the beat with this Hello Kitty phone

hello-kitty_phone.jpg
Hello Kitty has been everywhere from anti-viruses to sex toys to clothes. So, it is only natural that there would be Hello Kitty mobile phones popping up. This one is called 'Shake Music Free' G8 phone. As you might have guessed it has an mp3 player that enables you to skip songs by shaking the phone. Besides this you will find a 1 megapixel camera and a touch screen with a stylus. Nothing ground breaking here, but look at how cute the phone is. I love the pink one personally, however it is available in green too. Another adorable feature is the Hello Kitty carrying case provided with the phone. $120 is the price you will have to pay for 'Shake Music Free' Hello Kitty phone on ebay.

Sega Toys launch 'Dream Hamster'.

sega-toys.jpg
Sega Toys have launched the 'Dream hamster' toys that scream cuteness. Named the "Dream Hamster," the product would be released on August 8, 2008 for approximately $12 per robo-pet. Just press the switch on its abdomen and hold the Dream Hamster on your hand for it to start moving. Yeah that's all it does, what were you expecting for $12? It wouldn't help you with your chores. There are three different types available for purchase: the Golden hamster (what's with the shade?), Roborovski hamster which I find the cutest, and the Jangarian hamster which is especially famous in Japan.

Louis Vuitton Flagship Store in Tokyo grabs eyeballs!

spacecraft_store.jpg
Louis Vuitton's proposed flagship store in Tokyo is surely a marvellous structure. Some say it looks like a spaceship, some say its an overdone leaf like structure, I'll say its a wonder in itself. Designed by UNStudio of Amsterdam, the building employs a multi-level leaf motif meant to be simple and naturalistic. Well its not exactly simple, though ill let them get away with naturalistic. And its alright if it ain't simple, its Louis Vuitton for Pete's sake, you cant expect them to do anything that wouldn't make news.

Women outstrip men on social networks according to a study.

facebook.jpg The men are all set to take a back-seat as the women are at it again. They always end up beating the men and how I love that. So this time its about social networking and socialising. Online reputation company Rapleaf has released a new study of 49.3 million people, revealing gender and age data about social network users. On most of the main social networks - including MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Hi5 - women outnumber men by a considerable amount (obviously, we are social by nature, not reclusive). On Facebook, the 18-24 age group is largest, with 1,685,029 women in that age group compared to 977,753 men. In MySpace, the same age group dominates, with 7,091,214 women and 5,226,788 men.

Vibram FiveFingers barefoot technology footwear has it all!

vibram_glove-styled_footwear_1.jpg
I just set my sights on shoes that are more like feet gloves and I totally fell in love with them (especially the pink ones) as they make you feel barefoot when you really aren't. I am talking about Vibram FiveFingers, that presented its footwear with barefoot technology at the WSA Show in Las Vegas. These are very useful as thin flexible Vibram sole and individual toe pockets help strengthen and stretch muscles in the feet improving balance and agility. And Razor-siped soles add flexibility and slip resistance. Its a good thing these are slip resistant as by the looks of it, they look really slimy and slippery.

Ultrasonic aroma diffuser is simple and effective

ultrasonic_aroma_diffuser.jpg
I am big on aroma therapy. So electronic aroma diffusers, scented candles and all that grab my attention always. This ultrasonic diffuser is pretty cool and it revolves an unbelievable 1,700,000 times a second(damn, that is one fast machine). This allows micro water particle to disperse thoroughly and evenly throughout the air for easier absorption and long lasting staying power. I like that they've kept it simple both looks and functionality wise. All you gotta do is refill the removable water container, add a few drops of your favourite fragrance and you are good to go for about 4 to 8 hours.

Jazzy Jane Slim Sloane laptop bag is stylish and hot

slim_sloane_laptop_bag_1.jpg
I've been looking for a stylish laptop bag for ages. Most seem to me like they've been made by people who think a woman who owns a laptop must not care about fashion at all. Finally, I came across Jazzy Jane Slim Sloane laptop bag and let me tell you, it is seriously hot. I love this subtle yet sophisticated styling in grey from Marc by Marc Jacob. It is just the thing I was in search for as far as looks are concerned. Now. comes the problematic bit. It is so slim that it will definitely not carry the more bulky laptops and even if it does, there is going to be room for nothing more in there. Where do you put your power cord or other laptop accessories? There will be no option but to carry a second bag for them. In any case, if you put style over utility, then Jazzy Jane Slim Sloane laptop bag(what a catchy name) is available to you at nordstorm.com for $288. But in my opinion looks aren't everything, they are important but not everything.

Bebe's Ankle Purse sandals

ankle-purse.jpg
Ankle purses seem to be the new rage that is catching on. First it was Chanel, the pioneer of this trend and now it is Bebe following suit. Bebe has churned out a pretty hideous Maya Three Strap Sandals with Purse line. They look far too trashy for me to put my feet in. What is the point of an ankle purse anyway? Is it convenient? No. Is it hot? No. Well, out go my two main reasons for purchasing anything. And I'm sure this ugly ankle purse sandals by Bebe burn a big big hole in your pocket.
