Cleaning slippers favor your lethargy

cleaning_slippers.jpg
If you ask me which is the body part that I use most for attending to my daily home chores, I’d say my legs.(except cooking of course) I’d love the idea of laying on a centrally located hammock and mopping clean the entire room. Till such a far-fetched idea is executed, I can satisfy my lazy instincts with the Slipper Genie microfiber Cleaning slippers that have a base of a cleaning element. They’re totally cool and only worth $9!

Magnetic Magic musician is cute

musician.jpg
Kids like all toys moving, and they generally operate on unwinding keys. But the Magic musician is a tad different from other toys. The set includes two magnetic spinning dolls and the little girl dances round and round when her accordion playing boy is placed next to her. They’re certainly fun to watch for the little kids as well as adults. The figures at 2” high and retail for $10 per pair.

iPot USB is good for an LED glow

ipot_1.jpg
I wonder if creators of these handy products have an inferiority complex regarding their work, or they’re simply inspired by the fruity brand, for they tend to prefix an ‘i’ before all merchandise. If you ignore the ‘i’rksome part, you’d certainly appreciate the iPot by Steve Jobs. It’s a little attractive desk lamp that provides an LED light in a glowing white pod and charges on a USB cord. At $19, this USB could hold back your yawns for a while.

Circuit board necklace is eco friendly

circuitboard_necklaces_1.jpg
Being an eco friendly person I'm delighted to see this recycled printed circuit board necklace. So what if it accounts for only three percent by weight of the total amount of electronic waste, this piece of jewelry will at least help me be an eco friendly geeky. Each necklace is exclusively designed and measures over 1.5 inches wide. If you also want the same it is available for $20.

A Hello Kitty Casio camera that isn't only pretty in pink but technically sound as well

casio-hello-kitty-exilim_1.jpg
Finally, a digital camera that will definitely go on my wishlist. Let me tell you that the tech-specs have nothing to do with it but the looks have all! It is my life's mission to collect everything endorsed by Hello Kitty, thus this Hello Kitty Casio camera tops the list. As you might expect, it is pink in color and features Hello Kitty along with some equally cute hearts. What girl wouldn't want to own something so adorable? Feminists of course, but that's another story. Let's get back to this one and I'll fill you in on the specifications of this little baby. The Hello Kitty version of the CasioExilim line of digital camera holds its own, with 8.1 megapixels and 3x optical zoom, 2.6 in LCD. Of course for the Hello Kitty version, you have to shell out some extra bucks which amount to almost twice the price of a non Hello Kitty version. Take a look at the picture though and tell me is it not worth it?

USB Jewel thumb drive is incredibly pretty

usb_jewel_1.jpg
Fashionable USB drives are something everyone wants to own. The one I'm about to mention is for those who love them some bling. This USB flash drive is a pretty little thing adorned with decorative crystals. It almost makes the drive seem like you might have picked it up from a pirate's treasure chest or an ancient castle. Well, at least the design reminds you of that. I'm sure if there were computers back then, the historians would have said something about it by now. I wish I could tell you a little more about the technical specifications of the beautiful thumb drive, but as of now I only have information on its design.

Decapitate a teddy bear to have it transform into a USB drive

teddy-bear-usb.jpg
This Teddy Bear USB drive is for all you sadists who have borne a hate for cute fuzzy little things since you first opened your eyes. The idea isn't original it has been done before. However it wasn't available to the masses like this before and was only a mod. All you need to do here is rip off the head of this cute teddy bear and this cold blooded killing turns the teddy into *gasp* not a headless horse teddy, but a USB drive. Now all you need to do is stick this decapitated bear into your USB port. The memory available here is 1 GB, which is not much to boast of.

Rabbits and other animal friends are on environment friendly trash bags

animal-garbage-bag_1.jpg
Recycling and environmental awareness has become a trend, so why not make it a fun trend while we are at it? People seem to agree with me and that bring us to this adorable rabbit trash sack back. The bag has a face of a bunny on it with two dots for eyes and an X for the mouth. The main aim of the creators MAQ INC. is to motivate people to carry back their trash from a day out at the beach or any kind of picnic. I think their motivation is spot on, who wouldn't want a cute little bunny bag at their sides? MAQ are not new in this field. Before the bunny trash bag, they had come up with a Garbage Bag Art Work, which included appearances from fish, trees and flowers. If you are trying to get you kids to be more environmental friendly, then there is another bag by Lily Franky that might peak your interest. This life size bag features Oscar the Grouch from the Sesame Street series. MAQ also offers the Mottainai series for animal lovers which include penguin, seal and polar bear bags.

Hello Kitty Black Wonder collection is wonderful!

hello-kitty-black-wonder_1.jpg
Hello Kitty has undergone a makeover of sorts. Probably they read all the criticism we poked at them and for once did something about it. This time I am pleasantly surprised to see the Hello Kitty Black Wonder collection and not cause black is my favourite color. Change is the name of the game and Hello Kitty has ditched pink and embraced black for good. Hong Kong brings out one of the best collaborations ever, after the successful launch of Hello Kitty Black Wonder, a couple of HK’s hippest fashion retail chains D-mop and J-01 partnered with Hello Kitty to launch a collection of apparel, totes, caps and dolls. One look at the garments and other stuff and you are gonna be besotted. That explains the crowd of over 70,000 people since Hello Kitty Black Wonder opened, and within 2 weeks all the products were obviously sold out. Hello Kitty did manage to win accolades with a little help from D-mop and J-01 but that's all right.

Hello Kitty NoHoHon helps you relax...really?

hello-kitty_nohohon.gif As much as the makers of Hello Kitty aim at relaxing you, its a no doubts situation that they might just end up getting you all worked up. I pray, that at least this time around their contraption, Hello Kitty NoHoHon does something other than just adding a lot of colour to your milieu. One good thing it is eco-powered so you don't have to take any pains of buying batteries and keep the Kitty going. Hello Kitty NoHoHon (Japanese for relaxation) works on the principal of perpetual motion. She relaxes your senses and invites you into a calming world. How she can pull off this feat, I really don't know. Apparently, Hello Kitty is your constant friend and asks nothing of you but companionship (which I feel is too much to ask for). So sit back, take a deep breath and embrace the calming, relaxing influence of Hello Kitty NoHoHon if you can for $24.99.

Most expensive Hello Kitty Doghouse for $32,000

most-expensive-hello-kitty-doghouse.jpg
It's time to welcome the Hello Kitty fad again, but this time she's coming big. A luxury doghouse was created in 2007 for a sales event in a department store in Tokyo. The doghouse is large enough for a Chihuahua or Terrier and is decorated with 7600 crystal beads. Sanrio's luxury couch flaunts its area of excellence, by furnishing the pillow of the couch with a cute, Hello Kitty face. Seems like Cats and Dogs can live in harmony after all! The weeklong sales event included products created in the previous years and aimed at adult Kitty fans. A Kitty themed "i" minicar from Mitsubishi Motors Co. and a Hello Kitty Fender Stratocaster Electric guitar worth $20,460 (sold last year) were part of the event.

Yahama's BODiBEAT: In Sync with steps

yamaha-bodibeat.jpg
You sure have your iPod to give you company during your early morning workouts, but does it have music that aligns with your steps, certainly not. Yamaha's BODiBEAT is one such thing that gives you new tunes that automatically sync with your steps, giving you a new reason to thump a foot instead of the car. The only sad part is the bumpy price-utility ratio of this player, at a hefty $300, it provides only 512MB of space and 12-hours of battery life. I like the concept, only if it were executed efficiently. It's shipping now, so you can take a crack at it, if you don't mind the price tag.

USB Hub Monster will not lurk in your room

usb-monster.jpg
Check out the ugliest USB hub ever! At first I thought, ugh what an ugly black monster, but then maybe it looks a bit like a black spider or an octopus. Then it suddenly hit me that it looks like the harvesters from the Matrix! The seven tentacles and the USB ports. This seems so pointless to me. If you are going to create something pointless, at least make sure that it is easy on the eyes. It just looks like someone hurriedly put some fabric and wires together and 'Voila' this piece of geeky art was ready.
