Customize M&Ms in your choice of colour, letters or even your own photo

MandM.jpg
M&Ms are one of my favourite chocolate snack only behind Snickers and Reese's. It delights me beyond any forms of verbal expression to know that I can now customise M&Ms! How totally awesome is that?! Now, I don't have to sit around picking out the ones with my favourite colour. I can just eliminate the green ones from existing at all. I'd ask them to make mine in pink and purple. Also, the letter M can be replaced with another of your choice. Shiny Shiny had a brilliant idea that you can make an occasion special by having a message printed on your M&Ms. This isn't all either, you can also add a photo on your candy. Imagine how happy this will make all the narcissists. You can almost feel like a celebrity to have your own face on M&Ms. Limited special edition of you. Customized M&Ms has to be the best idea since sliced bread. Really.

Chloe Boudoir's shaggy green bag will have the fashion police on your tail

chloe-boudoir_shaggy.jpg
Chloe Boudoir bags might not make it to my favourite list, but I would always rate them high. Until this monstrosity came along that is. What in the world is this green shaggy bag? It looks like a dead and rotting mini sheep dog to me. It also resembles a pile of grass. You almost expect it to jump up at your throat with big bloody fangs. The green chain shaggy bag would fit perfectly in Monsters Inc. It is made from some sort of shaggy leather and adorned with Swarovski crytals(they couldn't salvage the look either). I just cannot understand who would want to buy this hideous green fluffy bag. The fashion police will imprison you for an eternity. Still, if you think Chloe Boudoir's shaggy green bag is worth your money, it will be available on Net-A-Porter for a price tag of £1,815. Changed your mind yet?

Giant Knitted Carpet serves the overly imaginative

giant-knitted-carpet_1.jpg
German designer Sebastian Sconheit seems to have a huge fixation of knitting work, to have created the 300 Knit Carpet project. I always believed that knitting was a task associated with women, but our designer friend here proved us thoroughly wrong. Coming back to his creation, he describes it as, “ An oversized Knit work, which appears as if it originated in a different world. The hand-knit carpet not only represents the result, but the process of work as well, binding in the performing act with the intention to create a product identity, creating a reference to material and handicraft tradition too.”

The singing bird alarm clock sings to you every morning!

singing-bird-alarm-clock.jpg
Waking up to my mothers screams are my most dreaded situations. I'd rather wake up to the sounds of the singing bird alarm clock. I dunno how effective would a chirping birdie be in waking me up if even my screaming mother's efforts eat dust. The Singing Bird clock comes with 9 most beautiful bird songs. However, if you don’t really like the built-in songs, you can get the song cards, including the Yard Birds - Eastern SongCard, Yard Birds - Western SongCard, Field & Meadow Birds SongCard and even Fabulous Frogs SongCard.

Playboy's show has guy, girl and gadget!

gidget_poster.jpg Choosing between a hot chick and a hot gadget can put any guy, geeky or not, in a fix especially if the gadget is classy enough like an iPhone 3G and the girl, not so classy (but is still a girl!). Where else would you find something this absurd? You got it right, on Playboy TV's new no inhibitions TV show. The procedure is quite intriguing if I may say so, as after having a lot of fun with three different girls ( one, who he must dismiss immediately) the guy has to zero on one finalist. In the end of it all he has to choose between having a weekend getaway with the lucky (?) lady and a fancy gadget like iPhone 3G or HDTV. Don't feel to bad for the girl you moral mortals, as she is very motivated to get the guy only for a great prize in the end. As for the guy, some people have all the luck!

Swivel barbecue for grilling gastronomes!

swivel_barbecue_1.jpg
This may not be the best barbecues around but its surely worth a dekko. Swivel barbecue looks different more like a pulley than a barbecue all thanks to the tripod but as long as it suits your need, the book shouldn't be judged by its cover. The construction of this swivel barbecue is as old as the act of grilling itself. The rods wedge at the apex of the construction with their own weight and just a light twist rendering screws, nuts, bolts and the like redundant.

Karl Lagerfeld's newest bag line to hit stores in Spring 2009

new_bag_line_1.jpg
Spring 2009 is looking like a good season for bags. I just had a look at Karl Lagerfeld's new bag lined scheduled for a spring launch, and let me tell you, it is stunning. The collection has been in the making for over a year, and Lagerfeld has personally approved each and every one of the 42 designs. It is said that this hot new line has been inspired "inspired by the designer’s passion for modern architecture and photography, and especially by his spirited lifestyle and iconic personality." There are some really pretty bags in the collections. The sleek totes seem to be quite dominant and are definitely my favourite in the lot. He has been pretty creative with his work. The bags include stuff with leather-covered chain handles and grommets and sunglass lenses beneath the handles. Sounds very funky. Besides this, there are some laptop bags in the mix as well which all the professional and nerdy fashionistas will appreciate. You can start ordering from as early as this week.

Skin Power Plus for busy women is endorsed by Hatarakiman's Hiroko Matsumoto

hataraki_1.jpg
Anime characters have to bear the burden of being role models to many(as bizarre as it is to let a cartoon character influence you, especially in adulthood). Hiroko Matsumoto, a dedicated magazine editor from Hatarakiman has become the idol of many career driven women. Her face is is the brand ambassador for a new line of skin products from PDC called “Skin Power Plus.” The job of this line is to keep your skin looking soft and beautiful for extended periods of time which is convenient in today's busy life where no one has a moment to stand and stare. Apart from Matsumoto's face, the skin care products are pretty 'average joe'. They have what every other product has : collagen, hyaluronic acid, and ceramide, plus a host of natural extracts (30+ ranging from rosemary to lime to royal jelly) intended to boast the effectiveness of the product.

Here comes a Typewriter Waffle Maker to make your breakfast delicious

typewriter_1.jpg
Typewriters are a thing of the past. They are completely redundant. However, designer Chris Dimino has staged their come back in the form of waffle makers. Yep, you got that right. A challenge from the School of Visual Arts has led to the advent of Corona-matic typewriter waffle maker. You can have your waffle large and shaped like a keyboard every morning with some good ol' sugary syrup. Waffles are the best for breakfast. So Dimino has struck a homerun with his typewriter waffle maker.

Prada Nappa Tote is dangerously ‘unchic’

prada-nappa-tote.jpg
Call it a desperate attempt to look glamorous or woo customers, Prada has really screwed it up this time. The Black nappa leather tote featured here is one hell of a disaster. I’ll tell you why. It’s designed with clumsy Lace detail that so undermines the term glamorous and chic. All right, it’s got the late 1800’s look and everything, but who wants it’s now? Moreover they put up a hefty price tag of $1,950 for this eyesore!

Pop-the-Edamame Cell Phone strap is poppy

mobile-acc.jpg
We all have tiny and trivial fiddling fetishes, which doesn’t seem to fade away with the growing age. How many grandpas have you seen, who flip their Ballpoint pens even at age eighty? It can’t be called a bad tendency, as your fingers get a little exercise every now and then. There is another healthy pastime one can have besides Bubble wrap mania/popping air-filled plastic bumps and it’s called Pop-the-Edamame. They’ve commercialized this fun sensation of popping those naughty little smiley-faced Edamames out of their pods. You can pop them out and tuck them in, but the only hinder is you can’t pop ‘em delicious looking seeds into your mouth.
