Matthais Furch brings us Kickit Shoe Rac

shoe_rack_1.jpg
Kickit Shoe Rack by Matthais Furch is the trendiest shoe rack I've ever come across. And what's more is that it is a multipurpose piece of work. I love multipurpose things, it's like you get so much more for the price of one. So this beauty is a shoe rack, a bench and a light all in one. Sounds pretty cool huh? You can turn on the light,
pick what pair of shoes you want and sit on it to put them on. I'm really liking this. The design is especially eye catching. The 2 fluorescent tubes behind the bristles add an extra something to it. Kickit Shoe Rack is said to be based on people's observed behavior. No idea on the price yet.

Virtual divorce leads to online murder

maple-story.jpg
The Internet never ceases to amaze me and make me chuckle with its absurd bits and pieces of news. We've heard of real life couples facing problems because of addictive games. But this is a new kind of problem. Some dude happened to divorce his online wife's avatar in 'Maple Story', a Japanese virtual world which can be best described as similar to Second Life. Women have bad tempers and cannot handle rejection well, so the story was bound to get a little messy. The 43 year old piano teach who was suddenly divorced by her virtual husband was so consumed with rage that she dealt with it by killing his character. The man was so distraught over his online murder that he contacted the police and had the woman arrested. Melodrama! The piano teacher had used log in information she got from the 33-year-old office worker when their characters were blissfully married, and killed the character. Hence, she is in big trouble and charged as she gained illegal access onto a computer and manipulated electronic data. The virtually divorced woman can face up to 5 years in prison and a fine of $5000.
