Pop bubbles everyday with 2009 Bubble Calendar

2009-bubble-calendar.jpg
Who doesn't love some good old bubble wrap? Nothing is as fun as bursting bubbles and that is human nature. A poster sized 2009 calendar that comes with a bubble to pop everyday is nothing short of super, super fun. This makes counting days so interesting and something to look forward to. The calendar, apart from the bubble wrap feature is pretty standard. It has days of the week and all major U.S. holidays marked and weekends bolded for easy reference. You can put it up in your home or office. Just make sure your co-workers and friends don't get too close to burst your bubble!

Hot lingerie made out of recycled soda cans

hot_lingerie_aluminum_cans.jpg
We've seen some outrageous lingerie recently like the GPS underwear that has driven all feminists crazy. But here is something no one can object to as it involves recycling. Ingrid Goldbloom has this brilliant idea where she creates hot bustier, garters, and underpants from recycled soda cans and hardware. Now this is truly putting recycling to some good and fun use. The effect of the lingerie is something Tin Man would really enjoy. The reds added to the silver make the line of underwear look very bold.

A safe and simple upper body tanner for the winter

body_tanner.jpg
Winter is almost here and it is time to say goodbye to the sun. It is so tough to keep up a hot tan in such weather. Tanning beds are an option, but I personally don't like them. Here's a tanner that is convenient and effective. This intensive solarium is much different from regular tanners. It has a 400 W halogen lamp and a special reflector. This makes it possible to bring color to your face and upper body by sitting at a comfortable distance of 4-feet away from the lamp. Another thing that's great about it is that through a special filter only tanning UVA gets to your skin. It is also much faster than sitting under the sun. The solarium comes with a timer that automatically turns off after 30 minutes. You can make use of the four memory buttons to help you remember how many tanning sessions you have completed (up to 10x).

Gwendolyn Huskens designs shoes to reveal the taboos related to physical deformities

medic_esthetic_footwear_1.jpg
Gwendolyn Huskens definitely deserves a pat on the back for her contribution towards the handicapped cause. Gwendolyn is a designer studying at the Design academy at Eindhoven, in the department of man and identity. She has very cleverly presented a line of Medic Esthetic shoes during the recent graduation show. With these designs Gwendolyn aims to reveal the taboos associated with the various physical deformities. The shoes have been designed creatively with medical materials and supplies like plaster bandages, steel, and band-aids. The result is a line of functional and oddly stylish shoes. Now this is what we call making a difference. Three cheers to Gwendolyn Huskens for daring to stand apart.

Wacky Space Invaders video by Taito

space_invaders_animated_1.jpg
Taito is really trying to garner some publicity with its latest Space Invaders video that it has specially created for their Game Station arcades in Japan. This video is definitely a must watch for all you people. The video tells the story of a little girl and her encounter with the Invaders. The story is quite entertaining and is accompanied by great lyrics. But the best part is the end. You keep thinking the invaders are here to destroy Earth, well not these invaders. They are actually helping to save the Earth by collecting all the trash. Wall-E effect? Beats me! I told you its wacky. But let's not be mean and criticize this video instead let us look at the bright side and appreciate Taito's concern for Mother Earth.

Canon Powershot E1 reviewed by Photography Blog

canon_powershot_e1_1.jpg
For all those who are awaiting the verdict on the latest Canon Powershot E1, your wait is over. Photography Blog has reviewed the entry-level 10-megapixel camera aimed at women and teens to capture all those special moments. The Camera's retro looks don't help to increase its appeal as the reviewers feel the look is too plastic and more like a toy. As for image quality, the E1 predictably packs too many pixels for its sensor, resulting in photos with good resolution, but noise and smearing in anything with fine details. But all's not bad, as it manages to get good points for video quality. The reviewer has very harshly termed this camera a pricier version of the Powershot A580 and also doesn't hesitate to recommend this camera as a first or beginner's camera for every child. So I guess, this baby priced at $183 and available in 3 different colors (white, cyan, girlish pink) is definitely not worth a buy.

Anti static key chain is a static shock reliever

anti-static_key_chain_1.jpg
I always dread the winter play of static electricity that keeps occurring when I grip any doorknob in the whole damn house. It’s especially irksome when you hope to go home to simply crash after a busy day and boom! The static shock throws back at you. It’s really not necessary to go through that twinge when you have the Anti-static key chain. When you hold it next to the doorknob, the internal sensors sense the status and display on the LCD screen, whether or not the knob is statically charged. It’s a cool gadget for daily use and sells for $7 at Korean Greens.
