Magician Sword Box Armoire is a quirky closet

Bring a little magic in your life with the Magician Sword Box Armoire. You can't quite put a person in here and jab in the swords, but you can use it to store your clothes. This unique and quirky closet is designed by Rafael Morgan. The swords here are actually bars that hold acrylic shelves. If you want a hanging wardrobe, all you have to do is remove some of the swords. It also has wheels at the bottom making it mobile. You can store whatever you want in this magic box. So far, it's only a concept.
The Kid Finder unveiled by Princeton is a handy device

It's a big bad world and parents are obviously going to be concerned about their children's safety. To let the parents sleep a little easier, there are many of these tracking devices in the market. One of the newest to join the lot has been created by Princeton. It's called the Kid Finder and it is specially designed to find kids (I hope you don't lose yours on a regular basis). It is a remote that displays basic directional information to lead the holder to the corresponding receiver. Besides this, it gives information about the distance and has an alarm for the kid's side in case of danger.

The Dance Mat remote control is a conspiracy against couch potatoes

I totally love gadgets like the remote control which help me become lazier by the day. Such gadgets help you operate so many devices by moving just a finger or two. So, for couch potatoes like me, the Dance Mat remote control is definitely a big no-no. The creators actually expect you to move and jump on the mat to flip the channels! Sounds just horrifying, especially if you love to surf aimlessly! Imagine having to get up every time you want to switch the channel or even increase or decrease the volume. A disappointment for couch potatoes, this remote will never find a place in my home. Promising to give you a good workout and make you more active, this remote is definitely unique.
The Onna Dameshi by Bandai is not for the modern girl
I really don’t think girls these days are insecure about themselves when it comes to impressing a guy. The modern girl definitely lacks no confidence when it comes to making men go weak in the knees. In fact I bet it is the guys these days that get all the jitters before a date. But Bandai seems to think just the opposite. And that is why they have come up with the unique and probably unwanted gizmo called the Onna Dameshi (Lady Tester). The company which is known for producing some amazing products has definitely made a big blunder with this one. This device aims to help insecure women in their 20s and 30s fathom the depths of the male psyche, and hopefully score themselves a mate in the process. Insecure women will be told answers to questions like “What color underwear should I wear?” “How should I cut my hair?” “What should I drink when we go to a kissaten?”

Ruby rocking chair has a six pack back

Some chairs look cool, but they have extremely far-fetched and borderline silly reasoning behind them. This unique "Ruby" rocking chair from Pouyan Mokhtarani is one such example. It's modeled on human anatomy and the manufacturer has decided to throw some random mambo jumbo at us which goes something like, "This chair is designed in a way that when ever an individual sits on it, he or she will experience the sense of power. This feeling is synonymous to that of a super metaphysic human who can control every surrounding matter." Looking at it again, makes me think that this is the kind of chair we'd find a super villain sitting on. It has my approval though, because rocking chairs are fun and the chair looks like it has a six pack. Maybe that's where the feeling of power comes from.
Loopa spill-resistant bowl avoids spills and messes

If you have kids, you know what a mess they can make. But Loopa spill resistant bowl is here to make life a little easier. It's said to be gravity-defying as it uses gyroscopes to avoid spillage. So your kids can do whatever with the bowl. That's what they claim anyway. Kids however have their own ways of making a mess. It's good to know that these bowls are spill resistant to some extent. They might not work with difficult spoilt kids, but in cases of genuine accidents, they'll come to your aid. The Loopa spill-resistant bowl comes for $8.95 and can be purchased here.
The Amana Jot Refrigerator works as a notepad too

The Amana Jot Refrigerator is perfect for someone like me who is extremely absent-minded. And it is so annoying to stick notes on a refrigerator. But this baby has a dry-erase finish on the door panel which makes it your personal notepad. You can write those reminders and messages to roommates/parents with dry-erase markers that let you edit the text when ever you want. Its main features are on-toured doors, up-front temperature control system, interior light, 2 adjustable spill saver glass shelves, 2 garden fresh crisper drawers and 2 door shelves, gallon door storage, deli drawer, dairy center, wire freezer shelf, 2 freezer door shelves and factory-installed ice maker. It seems like quite a nice package. I'm quite stoked about this refrigerator that lets me scribble on it. The Amana Jot Refrigerator is available for prices starting from $800.

The Philips active Crystals line from Swarovski which previously had Robot Happy Laura and Robot Naughty Raymond, have a new friend to join them, and she’s called Robot Dreamy Tina. She’s all blushy in her cheeks and she wears a Violet dress encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Tina can be worn as a pendant or charm. But there are two aspects which make her not-so-cute. Firstly her insufficient storage capacity of 2 GB that stores up to 500 songs/2000 photos and secondly the expensive price tag of $180.
Yubi-nya a.k.a cat ring empowers the fingers to control gadgets effortlessly

This next gadget will appeal to all gizmo freaks who have a special thing for cats. Confused? Let me explain. Denso Corporation has developed a ring shaped like the head of a cat that functions as a remote to operate many devices. Named as Yubi-nya, which is a play on the Japanese words for “ring” (yubiwa) and “meow” (nya), it is definitely unique. At a recent demonstration users were able to open and close doors of a model car by pressing their index finger and thumb together after wearing the ring. The ring operates on a weak electric current that is conducted through the wearer’s index finger. When the tips of the finger and thumb are pressed together, the current travels through the flesh of the hand and loops back around to the ring.
