Original Sega Dreamcast Console back from the dead

I thought the Dreamcast would never again see the light of day with so many next generation consoles out. However, it seems that ThinkGeek has pulled some of these consoles out of its hat. You can get this baby in a shiny new box now. The Original Sega Dreamcast Console box comes equipped with a single controler, av cable and demo disc. Let's not forget the built in 56K modem and phone cable as well. This brings back some fond memories. I wonder how ThinkGeek got a hold of these! Such a mystery it is. I'm quite excited that I'd get a chance to play Sonic and Soul Calibur again!
The About Time Clock makes it easy to chill and not worry about time

I get stressed out over 'Time' very easily. I always feel like there is no time in this oh-so-busy life. That's why this 'About Time Clock' is essential for someone like me as it allows you sit back, chill and make time relative again. Sander Mulder has design this fantastic clock that comes with no moving hands or dials. What happens here is that the clock rotates and moves around displaying the correct time at the bottom. One long continuous sentence tells us the hours. We need to lax out tight schedules and that is the intention of this design. It aims at making people stop counting minutes. I like the fact that the clock shows time like: 'it's about six o'clock' or 'it's about seven now'. This is a great clock that is easy to fit on a desk. So relax and forget about the precise hour, minute and second with the About Time Clock.
CompUshade: The laptop sun-hood to reduce strain on eyes

We need to make sure our laptops don't get a tan. Or more like we need to see what's on our screen without the sun's glare making that an impossible feat. But it is rather annoying it carry protection for your notebook everywhere. However, with CompUshade we get rid of this problem. This patented laptop hood attaches to the back of the lip which in no way hampers the opening and closing of it. So when not in use, you can neatly fold the sun-hood and let it sit there. Apparently it's so thin that it can fit in your notebook case without any problems.
Reading Chair made out materials found in a dumpster

Chairs have always held a fascination for me. If there is a unique chair, I have to try it. That's why this one of a kind reading chair instantly caught my eye. It's been made out of the old Hunan Palace florescent sign. However, it won't make you feel like a princess since this sign was pulled straight out of a dumpster. It is put together with with pop rivets and old school books, so it might just be reminiscent of your childhood. I' not sure I quite like this reading chair and I'm sure it isn't comfortable, but it has a certain old, worm out charm. It's a nice novelty item that will no doubt be a conversation starter.

Have some fun with printing Toasters

Manufacturers have devised new ways to make food fun by modifying kitchen appliances. And the latest cooking gadget to get a fun makeover is our most frequently used kitchen appliance- the toaster. Yes, now your dull toasters will pop out toasts with a message! The markets are now flooding with various toasters that promise to surprise you with their unique printing abilities. Be greeted every morning with a message reading ‘Hello World’ that is toasted into the top piece of bread using a CNC laser cutter or opt for subtler print with the Zuse toast printer that prints unique patterns on your toast.
A Bra saves a woman from gunshot

A woman in Detroit has just proved that you don’t need fancy bullet proof clothes to survive a gun shot. The lady was miraculously saved when the metal underwire in her bra deflected the shot fired during a break-in at a neighbor’s home! The 57 year old lady is grateful to her lingerie that saved her life when she peered out of her window on hearing the sound of the gun shot. According to cops, one of the robbers took a shot and the slug smashed through the window and bounced off her bra! The robbers fled after the shooting. Whether they were terrified by the sight of a bullet bouncing off the chest of a woman or thought they were soon going to be caught by the ‘super woman’ is still unknown. I bet the entire incident spooked both the victim as well as the robbers! Don’t be surprised if lingerie makers take this opportunity to create some bullet proof collections with this 57 year old as the brand ambassador.

This is definitely the era of everything tiny. Check out this stylish premium mini notebook pc 'N310' that Samsung Electronics has launched at a press conference in Korea. The N310 is surely candy for the eyes. I'm not the only one who thinks that as it has won the International Design Award for its curved-design finish like a pebble. It also supports 802.11bg wireless LAN, HSDPA and WiBRO. Whew, that's a lot of features in this itsy-bitsy thing that weighs only 1.23kg. Snuggle up for a lazy slumber with the Panda Music Pillow

Pandas are the cutest creatures in my book. Pillows are probably the most important thing when I'm getting some much needed zzzz's. And music is something I just can't do without. So when you combine all these three things, you get a totally irresistible combination. The Panda Music Pillow is really cool as it lets you enjoy your own music and that too without the annoying earpiece wires. It is said to be super soft and comfortable. It is also portable so perfect for both travelers and home users. So when you are feeling lazy and sleepy, just bring out this pillow and listen to some lilting tunes. You can connect it to any external music sources. Panda Music Pillow will make sure you are never a sad panda. It is available for $14 here.
Recycled Necktie Necklace is feminine and bold
I don't blame ties for wanting to turn into necklaces. It's a lot more fun to hang out with the ladies! Laura Skelton has answered this prayer of the ties by transforming them into beautiful and feminine necklaces. The pretty and fun necklaces are made from vintage neckties and wooden beads handmade in Maine. The designs and patterns of the neckties look hot when wrapped around the beads. I like the fact that this accessory can either be worn long or as a choker or even a bracelet. The beads give it a cute feminine touch while the necktie retains a bold edge. You can team it up with any outfit. You can buy the necktie necklace for $28 per piece at UncommonGoods.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc Tote is a great companion for the beach

Summer is here and you are sure to hit the beach. But we all know that we cannot go to the beach without a perfect beach bag. That's where the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag steps in. Miss Marc Tote is a hot beach tote for the ladies. I love the chic design of the bag. It has two handles to hold, a zip fastening along top and compartments for storage inside. The multi-colored print on the front of this clear PVC tote is cute and fun. However, this is not just any tote, it is a handy little stylish beach kit. It comes with a purple signature embossed cotton 'Miss Marc' towel, a reversible multicolored cotton 'Miss Marc' hat and white rubber flip flops with orange trim. Just add a pair or sunglasses and some real good sunscreen lotion and you won't need anything more. You can buy it for $340 here. Have fun at the beach!
Turns your jacket into a backpack or a pillow on the go

Transformers 2 is all set to be a summer blockbuster and we need something to celebrate it in some way. Nope, I'm not talking about robots turning into cars. This transformer is a little different. It's a jacket that can be turned into a backpack or a pillow. I think this is quite perfect. There are numerous times when I go out wearing a jacket only to realize that I don't want it anymore. I can just turn it into a backpack by fiddling with the zips. This 3 in 1 piece of accessory looks stylish enough that you wouldn't be a walking disaster.
Mrs. Dalloway by Nika Zupanc: A stylish kitchen appliance with a rebellious message

Who said fashion and cooking doesn’t go hand in hand had better think again. Nika Zupanc has come up with a line of the most rebellious and stylish kitchen appliance. Zupanc designed the hot plate exclusively for Gorenje and has named it as Mrs. Dalloway. The stylish hot plate is an attempt to rebel against the myth that household appliances are only made for kitchens and housewives. Known for tackling daily themes which symbolize mediocrity, dullness, boredom, and temporal restraints, she attempts to rebel against these myths with her unique designs. Mrs. Dalloway being a single plate, it has a seemingly simple genetic structure. Nika Zupanc defines her latest design as an ode to the invisible pathologies of our everyday lives.
