Fossilized Ice Trays: A Pre-historic delight!

As a kid, I was always fascinated by the Jurassic Park movies and Dinosaur visuals, so I pretty much assume that the cult carries on through genetic inheritance. I know your kids love those prehistoric monsters and simply hope that they come alive some day. While we can wipe that thought out, we can also make them a little happy with this interesting set of 2 silicone Triceratops and T. Rex ice (age) trays that create fossilized ice cubes for Jurassic drinks.
Heal your computer with the IV drip hard drive

Everyone needs a doctor for their computer, I'm serious. The amount of viruses and bugs and deaths is appalling! This concept hard drive by Hyuh Jin Lee is just what I was looking for. It's an IV drip bag, so you know it supports the life and well being of your laptop! It has an anti virus program and it also recovers corrupt files. Certainly sounds like a life saver. All you need to do is plug it into your computer and it blinks and flashes and lights up when in use. So besides healing your computer, it also looks good while doing it. I love the concept, I can't wait for it to go into production and hit the market.
Michael Daniel's Flip Flop Clock appears to be mobile on legs

A flip flop clock on legs sounds like an awesome deal to me. Michael Daniel brings together modern design with vintage technology in this quirky clock. The coolest part is that every time the time changes and a number flips over, it actually looks like the clock is taking a step towards you. It also has visible spinning mechanism at the side that gives it a more fun look. I completely love the idea of feeling like time is walking towards me. Makes me feel like I'm time's master and it is my mere puppet! This clock is made out of stainless steel, plastic and rubber and it is easy to clean. You can buy it for $88 at UrbanOutfitters.
Scrabble tiles make up a curvaceous nude woman sculpture

Over the years, I've seen that scrabble tiles have been put to a lot of uses. This time it's the turn of Scrabble sculptures. These are not any ordinary sculptures, in fact they are curvaceous female nude sculptures made by British Artist David Mach. Mach-2 his project also makes use of dominoes and cut up vintage postcards and photos apart from scrabble tiles. Check out Myslexic, a chiaroscuro female nude sculpture comprised of scrabble tiles. It looks sensuous and literary at the same time if that's possible. This must be the dream woman of every man who likes to play with words. It reminds me of sculptures from an olden era, but with a modern scrabble touch. Wonder if he would remake the statue of David with scrabble tiles!
Faraway Interior Pool from Kos: Epitome of Luxury

If you are rich, you can afford all the things money can buy, including your very own luxurious mini-pool. The point of these pools is to indulge you and allow you to experience the pampering of a spa treatment in your very home. And the Faraway Interior Pool from Kos Faraway bathroom range, which is a concept spa piece, promises just that. The brainchild of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, this elegant mini-pool was presented in 2009 and is the epitome of luxurious designs. The sunken pool, leveled with the floor will mesmerize you with its asymmetrical design. Tiny ripples giving you the feel of a gentle breeze are caused by the blower, cleverly placed under the steps.

iCooly, a stand for iPhone users: Worth it?

Recession is making manufacturers create the most peculiar products in the hope that they will strike gold. So it is our duty as customers to be smart and pick out a worthwhile product from the lot. And here is the latest tricky product for all iPhone users to judge. Named the iCooly, it is a stand for your iPhones. In “stand” mode, the iClooly works both vertically and horizontally, and the big clip curves down to give your phone a sturdy and strong support. The iCooly might attract quite a few stares when you place it in your pockets. But what has bothered me is the price. At $33, it makes me ask only one question: Is it worth it?
Water Clock: A unique way to display time

Here’s a timepiece that will appeal to all. Known as the Water Clock and designed by Kouichi Okamoto with ceramicist Daniel Jo, it promises to take your breath away with its unique mechanism. A pair of powerful magnets underneath the clay surface moves the tiny orbs in a circular path to tell the current time. But here is the fun part. If you fill up a glass with water, the “hands” of the clock actually float on the surface of the water. Each of the spheres can be placed into any dish or vessel to tell the time (the red one shows the hours, the white one the minutes). The simple aesthetic beauty of this timepiece will surely mesmerize everyone. The minimalistic clock allows you to explore your artistic side and create your own unique timepiece with the help of vessels and water.
Fukitorimushi by Panasonic: A nanofiber robot to keep the dirt away

At first glance you might think it is an ordinary pillow. But there’s more to this pillow-like thing than meets the eye. Known as the Fukitorimushi, it is an autonomous floor-cleaning robot that was recently unveiled at Tokyo Fiber Senseware exposition in Milan. Fukitorimushi (lit. “wipe-up bug”) is designed by Panasonic and incorporates nanofiber technology developed by textile maker Teijin, Ltd. The robot crawls like an inchworm and uses a super-absorbent nanofiber cloth to wipe up microscopic dust and residue that ordinary vacuums ignore. The robot uses “feelers” of blue-white light to search for floor grime and once it finds a dirty spot; the robot emits a red light and puts extra effort to cleaning that area.
Star Trek Phaser for the hard core fans

After the Star Trek Panorama on the 4th of May, it is viable to expect the non-fans to turn into one because the Star Trek world has so much to offer. It is a replica of the famous phaser and inevitably has stun and vaporize settings, and not to forget the variety of lights and sounds to provide the desired ‘lethal’ effect. Laptop Pillow allows you inter-work dozes minus the key marks on your face

Some times you don’t have to have a crazy night out on a Sunday to be napping away on your laptop on a Monday. It could be the extremely boring nature of your work or simply put, Monday Blues. Even if you happen to catch a little afternoon siesta, you don’t have to curse yourself; rather you should try to make it as comfortable as you can so you don’t make a bid to waste any more of your working hours. The best way to do so is by using your keyboard as your pillow with the Laptop pillow. The best part is, it gives your boss an impression of working while sleeping.
Weird Boneless Dieting Belt helps burn fat by splitting the bulges

People who are trying to lose weight will try anything once. It's true, believe me! That's why products like the Boneless Belt are around. It's a unisex belt that has to be worn under the dieter's clothing. Let me tell you that this is one of the most weird belts I have seen in my entire life. Good thing we have to wear it under our clothing and not over. I wouldn't want this to be the next fashion statement. The scientific mambo jumbo from the Japanese says that the structure of the rubber belt is a large mesh grid that splits the dieter's belly, side and back fat into easily manageable blobs.
Dry Erase Wall Clock might tick away your forgetfulness

I am prone to forgetting appointments and being late all the time. I always thought there is no cure for this. I have tried almost all kinds of reminders and alarms, but nothing seems to work. So in my quest for a permanent cure for this forgetfulness, I stumbled upon this nifty little Dry Erase Wall Clock. I don't know if it will solve my problem, but I'm willing to give it a shot. It allows you to write down all important appointments as a constant reminder to keep an eye on the time. Quite convenient, I must say since writing down things helps me remember them better. The clock is made out of plywood and laminate and it comes with a dry erase pen and eraser. This handy clock runs on an AA battery. However, it does have a rather heavy price tag of $135. If you don't mind spending that much, it is available here.
