Ontario-based game collector Syd Bolton decided to hire artist Erin McFadden to make him a table that could fit right into his game room. And let's face it, there's no better table than a one that features Pac-Man. McFadden did well by turning a boring old coffee table into a totally geeky one that features a classic arcade Pac-Man scene. Royal Ascot’s Chocolate hat marks Ladies’ Day and a new style statement too

Chocolate_hat.jpg
On the occasion of Ladies’ Day yesterday, Royal Ascot racegoers were tempted to their legitimate chocolate cravings with the Cadbury Flake 99 hat, which is nothing like what we’ve seen before. Created by Milliner Judy Bentinck, the impressive 4ft long creation took six painstaking weeks and also an assortment of materials to fabricate. The cone was created by a process that involved intricate layering of colored mesh and the ice-cream was created with the aid of ‘creamy’ satin. A material which formed a part of Late Queen’s Mother’s hats was used for creating the chocolate curls.

Motifo Magnet brings giant Mosaic art to your fridge

Mosaic_art_on_fridge.jpg
Engaging digital photo frames of family and friends or sticking up random fridge magnets is just not my type of a thing. I prefer things to either be spic & span or phenomenally unusual. The Motifo magnet set by Peter Locke is just the right thing that falls into my ‘phenomenally unusual’ idea of fridge modification. The guy has created a set of 1296 colored magnets called Motifo that are almost like giant magnet color pixels that you could arrange and rearrange to create a visual wonder on your fridge door.

PIMPtendo: NES done up with Zebra skin and feathers

PIMPtendo.jpg
NES consoles are everybody’s favorite, irrespective of the outbreak of Wii’s and Xbox’s and according to me, they’re true classics. If you’ve thought that making its appearance a bit more kinky could keep the show running, there’s nothing like it. Your idea has just been supported by the custom designed PIMPtendo that has been sexily ‘pimpified’ with a new Zebra skin finish, added LED’s which make the innards of the system glow red when it’s switched on, gems galore, Plexiglas, purple frill and a peacock feather like a little seasoning.

Telephone Cord Watch brings back the age of wires

Telephone_Cord_Watch.jpg
Geeky gadgets with a retro touch are always great. That's just what this watch does here. It's a timepiece attached to one of those old telephone cords. It's bound to strike a cord with all those who spent hours on the phone twirling the wires. Now, its the wireless age, so you don't often see these wires. The watch is handmade from a reclaimed vintage telephone cord and accented by a vintage phone key. The credit of the design goes to Minnesota artist Debra Dresler, who gives "new life to old spirits" through her functional art pieces.

Chocolate Chess from Key Design: A delicious game of skill for chocoholics

chocolate-chess_1.jpg
I have never been too fond of Chess, but the Chocolate Chess from Key Design has appealed to my chocoholic sensibility and left me craving for one. This delicious Chess board has pieces made from edible chocolate allowing players to gobble up the losing opponents’ pieces. The unique chess board draws its inspiration from a Croatian folklore in which a Croatian king plays chess with an Italian king to capture numerous islands of the Croatian coast as the prize. This chocolicious chess set is the modern depiction of this legend where the islands are replaced by delicious chocolates.
