Cut your cake disgracefully with the Table Saw

Table_saw.jpg
Do you have an evil side to yourself that you can’t let out to your kith and kin? Never mind, you could let it all come out at the table with the Table Saw. The Table Saw is big and toothy like the wood saw in your backyard, but the only difference is that it cuts edible stuff. It is while in color and is capable of dicing your lettuce without discoloring it. It can also cut your delicious cut in big chunks unlike the small impotent knives.

Flaunt your love for numbers with the Polyhedral Handbags

Polyhedral_Handbags.jpg
Are you a mathematics geek? Who cares even if you’re not? You could just show that you’re cool with numbers and you have ‘no hard feelings’ for it with the Dodecahedral handbag. It’s a creation of Scientist Lenore Edman and he has also enlisted the materials used to create this bag. Dodecahedral, verily means a platonic solid consisting of 12 regular pentagonal faces and the materials used to create the bag are fabric, iron-on numbers, a couple of washers and a magnet.

The Owl Project gets innovative with Log1k and iLog

Owl_Project.jpg
The Log1k by the Owl Project is one the most innovative directions modern technology can get. It is a log-like laptop that needs 24 AA batteries to allow them to generate signals, make sounds as well as light up it’s screen. It looks uber cool. You should check out iLog as well. It is capable of light and noise and it's supposed to produce “amazing grain quality" on its wooden display. Although they look really great, it doesn't say much about our relationship with the environment.

TakaraTomy's new Mubingufoto camera clicks in pink and hearts

TakaraTomy_Mubingufoto.jpg
Mubingufoto is a funny name for a camera, but in all seriousness TakaraTomy's latest digital camera is called just that. It is being marketed towards high school girls. That's pretty obvious with the hot pink and heart it comes in. This teenybopper camera features a resolution of 200k pixels, 1GB onboard memory, SD card slot and a LCD for viewing the pics. A nice bonus is that it is preloaded with a variety of special effects for adding to the photo. You can buy this pretty little camera for $11O from next week in Japan. Imagine all the pictures that will be uploaded through this on facebook and MySpace.

Brad Pitt graces the cover of WIRED’s August issue

brad_pitt_wired.jpg
Brad Pitt, though a little frowned, looks hot in headsets and even better on the cover of WIRED, the American magazine on technology-culture influences. You’d probably shoot “Why” or “How” as I did when I caught the gorgeous star gracing the cover. The reason is rather controversial. Apparently, the 45 year old star gave some real bad advices on 21st century technology behaviour, as he spoke about, Twitter, online dating, conduct at work, etiquette and those sometimes awkward cyber dilemmas, in an interview.

UFO juicer for the spatial aspirant

UFO_juicer.jpg
You don’t have to be an astronomy and astrophysics student to appreciate extraterrestrial species. With their reported recent ‘invasions’ on our planet, we can look forward to being good pals (or foes) with them. Let’s hold that thought, while I introduce you to the UFO juicer that has an intergalactic guy consigned at the centre. He looks pretty grim, but I bet he does his job with utmost precision, that of squeezing the last drop out of your citrus. He charges about $15 for that.

Glowing router clock displays the strength of your broadband signal

Glowing_router_clock.jpg
With the swarming of clocks with ipods or other such gizmo, I’d appreciate anything that breaks the stereotypes. Then I happened to spot the Route O’ Clock that appeared a tad different from the usual. It’s a cool, colorful clock that has strips of several colors. The colorful strips, besides delivering good looks to the clock, also deliver functionality as it’s fitted with a router that monitors your broadband signal and indicates its strength with different colors at each interval. Currently, it’s still in its conceptual stage, we’d still need time to appreciate or comment on this idea.

As per the past information that we have had, the BL40 sports a 5 megapixel camera, 800 X 345 screen and the latest info claims that it also has Wi-Fi, FM transmitter and 335 MB onboard memory which can be expanded with a microSD card. The latest images of the BL40 are rather interesting thought. These images show the BL40 next to a very identical handset but just smaller than the BL40. It looks very much like a younger sibling of the BL40. It could also be another phone of the Black Label series which LG is all set to roll out. Make up kits: A girl's best friend?

Makeup-kits_1.jpg
Everyone is in the Transformers mood, but some chicks might not like the robot action so much. So here's something that could be more up your alley. These crazy make up can transform into absolute mean beauty beasts. They are multipurpose and have flip tops, dual-sliding pieces, and hidden pop-up functions. I don't know what I'd do with so much make up, but I've no doubt that it could turn the ugliest duckling into a swan.
