DuoFertility- a fertility gadget that guarantees fertility

There is good news for couples trying to have a baby. The DuoFertility fertility gadget comes with a money-back guarantee in case the couple doesn’t conceive with the 12 months of usage. The gadget consists of ovulation detectors, made of rubberized plastic that sticks underneath a woman's arm near her bra strap. It can be stuck on with an adhesive patch that covers the entire sensor or a double-sided adhesive that sticks between the skin and sensor. The sensor contains a temperature probe and memory chip that records data every few seconds, up to 20,000 over 24 hours.
British law makers to impose a ban on photoshop

After some surprisingly wrinkle-free images if the 59 year old Twiggy surfaced a few days ago, British Members of Parliament are calling for a ban on Photoshopping ads aimed at children, and disclosure of digital alterations in ads aimed at adults. Britain's Liberal Democrats would like to ban Photoshopping entirely in ads aimed at those under 16, and require all other ads to carry a disclaimer describing the degree of their modification. They also plan to introduce media literacy lessons to tech kids about advertising techniques and be wise while choosing products.

If you love cooking a feast for your family but dread the inconvenience of using a microwave, then Whirlpool has just the right solution for you. It has just unveiled its new convenient and energy efficient VT266 and VT265 Jet Saveur microwaves. These microwaves have all the features of a conventional microwave oven along with the unique CRISP system that combines three heat sources to provide oven-style browning and crisping to dishes such as chicken and jacket potatoes. Hello Kitty turns Darth Vader pink

I never thought there would come a day when Star Wars and Hello Kitty combine forces. They are just two separate worlds and don't quite mix. However, my ultimate dream is true with the Sith Lord dressed up in pink Hello Kitty attire. Darth Vader has gone over to the cute side from the dark side with the new and improved costume. It is all cute in baby pink and features Hello Kitty. I don't know how die hard Star Wars fan would react to this, some might call it blasphemous. All I can say is, Hello Kitty has turned the dark force pink! That's the kind of power the little one possesses that even the Dark Lord had to succumb! I do think this dude needs to be careful, because he is going to feel the wrath of all the wannabe Jedi's and their light sabers for dressing in pink.

Panda dolls selling like hot cakes in Beijing

I've always loved pandas, but it seems that now they are a rage in Beijing too this summer. Panda dolls and costumes are really hot over there and the thing to buy amongst the youth. So I suppose boys are gifting their girls panda dolls and not teddy bears this summer! I wish it was the same trend here. The dolls are dressed as panda boys and girls, brides and grooms making them look utterly cute. It seems the designers have a big plan of promoting their brand "Panda Town" as the new "Chinese Barbie". That's a bit ambitious, because pandas might be cool, but they can never beat Barbie. The costumes also include western-styles, but I personally like the Chinese look better.
Limited Edition Hello Kitty Casio Exilim EX-Z2 decked with pink Swarovski crystals

It is Hello Kitty's 35th birthday this year and preparations for the celebrations are going on in full swing. There is a 35th anniversary CASIO EX-Z2 digital camera exclusively for this occasion. If you are a Hello Kitty fan, you have to take a look at this gorgeous camera. Her pretty face and signature pink graces everything from the packaging to the camera. That's not the best part however. My favorite is the outer lens that is dotted with pink Swarovski crystals. The entire effect is glittery and adorable. The camera features 12.1MP and 3X optical zoom. The Hello Kitty Casio Exilim EX-Z2 12.1 Megapixel Limited Edition Digital Camera is currently on pre-order and will retail for $500. So what are you waiting for? Also, check out the previous version of this camera, the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z85. If you already have a camera, you might want to try the cute Hello Kitty Laptop.
Graffiti gets non-destructive with Halo

I always thought graffiti is a really cool and rebellious form of artwork, but most people think it's just vandalism. But with the advent of Halo by French designer Aissa Logerot, the destructive part of graffiti is taken out of the equation. This really nice concept is shaped like a bottle of spray paint and the LED light can change colors on the fly and it's powered by an internal battery. To charge the battery, just shake the can. You can capture your graffiti in thin air with the help of slow-shutter photography. So maybe Halo can make graffiti socially acceptable? But that kind of kills the purpose of it.
Paula Abdul voices not returning to American Idol via Twitter

We know that the celebrities are quite addicted to 'tweeting' on Twitter. This time it's Paula Abdul's turn to hit the limelight via this website. Abdul used several tweets to share the news, writing in full: “With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll be miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1 become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.” It'll be strange to watch American Idol without Abdul's bubbling excitement. However, this news isn't a shocker. Seacrest had tweeted that he can't imagine doing Idol with Paula. Maybe we'll get more tweets from celebrities over Paula's decision.

A musical Lady’s glove

Its amazing how technology was so advanced back in 1991. Laetitia Sonami, a composer, performer and sound installation artist created a sensory enhanced glove during this time for the at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria. This Lady’s glove could be the first of its kind featuring integrated sensors on such an advanced level for the use as musical performance enhancing instrument. It got a major upgrade in 1994 by from Bert Bongers to enhance the look and performance of the glove and was called the Lady’s glove 2.
Nikon packs a projector in a digital camera

Gone are the days when you have to run to the camera and check how you look in the image you just clicked. The new Nikon COOLPIX S1000pj camera packs a small projector in it to display the picture on a screen and avoid a stampede to view the image n the small LCD screen. This small projector is capable of projecting images and videos taken on the camera up to a distance of 10 inches on any screen or wall surface in VGA resolution. This 12.1 megapixel camera also packs a high ISO 6400 sensitivity, 5-way Vibration Reduction image stabilization system, four movie modes with sound, and 36MB internal memory expandable via SD/SDHC memory card. It even includes smile shutter and Blink Proof function for taking better pictures. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix automatically corrects any perceived red-eye effect before saving the image to memory. Taking pictures just got better with this camera and its amazing how the added projector has not taken away any functions from the camera.
Quirky Salt & Pepper Shakers by Undergrowth

I think I'm a big fan of these slightly strange and disturbing salt & pepper shakers by Undergrowth. They are not your average salt and pepper shakers and are sure to be conversation starters. They lean a little towards the goth side of things, but that's what makes them unique. The designer describes them as 'Victorian dolls who got trapped by a TV set that fell out of the sky, if that's not a totally out of the box idea, I don't know what is. A set of this comes for $71 and can be bought here.
