Celebrate Spongebob's 10th anniversary with Nooka's watches
I'm definitely a huge fan of Spongebob, the cartoon series tickles my funny bone in the right way. My personal favorite is Patrick Star, but Spongebob does come in a close second. If you weren't aware, in honor of Sponge Bob’s 10th anniversary, Nooka has released three watches. The good part about these watches is that they are subtly themed and it's none of the cheap and tacky watches that you might expect to find in a Happy Meal. They are called ‘SpongeBob ZenV Aluminum Spongenvader’, the ‘SpongeBob Zub ZenH 20 Spongelevator’ and the ‘SpongeBob Zot Aluminum SpongeBamo’. LG's Color Pop monitors are very cutesy and girly
The LG W30 Color Pop monitors are unabashedly targeted towards the ladies and for once, I'm not in the least bit offended. I got a little tired of anything electronic being mainly marketed towards the guys. So these monitors might be a little over the top with all the flowers and bunnies and cakes used for advertising, but I'm loving it. These 37-mm slim monitors are available in your choice of Oreo Black, Jelly Pink, Blueberry Purple, Applemint Green, and Hawaiian Blue. There's no second guessing that my vote goes to Jelly Pink. The monitors come with a nice and glossy, two-tone frame. The two sizes are (18.5-inch, 1366x768 pixels) and big (21.5-inch, 1920x1080). The candy monitors will hit the U.S. in September and the rest of the world later. I'm putting this on my Christmas wish-list.

We know that the Mac and PC are constantly at war and that this is one war that will go on for centuries to come. It's slated to go down as the bloodiest war in the history of geekdom! To celebrate this rivalry, designer Adam Fredrick has designed a Mac Vs. PC chessboard. We know whose side the designer has picked, because he has created the Apple logo for the board, but that might be for aesthetic reasons. We can see the Zune, Xbox, notebooks and desktops waiting to strategically tear the competition apart. So yes, this is definitely the most unique chessboard I've ever come across. I'm rooting for Microsoft, I'm pretty loyal. Choose your side wisely! I don't think this has gone into production yet, as there's no word on the price.

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm big into geeky accessories. It somehow tickles me to shun conventional fashion accessories and delve into the alternate world of geeky style. It might not be the arcade style fightstick, but it is very impressive. Unfortunately only 1,000 “Femme Fatale” fightsticks are being made – 650 for Xbox 360 and 350 for PlayStation 3. Personally I see no connection between ladies' jeans and a car, but if it's for charity, then it has my blessings for sure. The story is that Alfa has teamed up with TV fashion designer Louise Roe and two unknown designers named Bjork and McElligott to create a line of women's jeans that would be as cool and desirable as the Alfa MiTo. I've got to admit that the resulting one-off series of limited edition skinny fit jeans is extremely hot. These are high fashion jeans complete with a high quality leather waistband and Alfa Romeo red stitching. I'm sure anyone sporting them is going attract a lot of stares.
