Wake up to your favorite song with Sleep Blaster

I absolutely hate waking up in the morning. How can I enjoy it when I fall asleep in the wee morning hours? So it makes me into quite a grouch. I also loathe alarm clocks, because they have weird sounds to wake me up with. But there's a solution for that with Sleep Blaster. This is an alarm clock application that gives you the option of waking up to your favourite iTunes track. You can either shout at it to turn it off or you can press the space key. Even if you are a deep sleeper, just set the volume high enough. A nice feature it includes is that it rocks you to sleep with a gentle coastal waves sound generator. You can download it for a fee of $8 here.
Star Wars Mimobot Thumb Drives are uber cool
![]()
Anyone who doesn't love Star Wars has to face my wrath. So in case you don't like it, you'd better be in a galaxy far far away from me! The Star Wars Mimobot Thumb Drives are really cool and a sight for sore eyes after looking at the usual mind numbing and boring old thumb drives. These limited edition pieces come in versions that include Darth Maul, Princess Leia, C3P0, Wicket and Darth Vader. The storage capacity is 4GB. Which one would you get? I think I'd go for Darth Vader. You can get one for $35 at ThinkGeek. While you are here, take a look at the Darth Vader Alarm Clock as well.
Pac-Man Rubik's Cube for puzzle lovers

I've spent hours playing Pac-Man and I've spent hours trying to decipher the Rubik's Cube. Now when I've stumbled across a Pac-Man Rubik's cube, I can't hide my excitement. It brings back so many old school memories. I love the design with the ghosts and Pac-Man and the infamous cherries. It looks like the entire Pac-Man bandwagon is featured on the cube. I think it would a nice way to pass idle hours with this Rubik's Cube on the Pac-Man chair. You can get the cube over at Etsy for $7.
USB Rock Bear dances to your tune
I'm a big fan of USB toys, especially if they are cute. Remember the Snoopy USB Toy? It had totally captured my heart. This USB Rock Bear is cool too, but I don't like teddy bears all that much. It works something like this: 'There are two ways to connect to music sources. The short cable from the bear’s chest for connecting a MP3, MP4 player, iPods or iPhone. Put the player in the bag, the bear will shake it’s head, hands and butt to the rhythm of the music. In another way, through the INPUT port on the bear’s left shoe, just connect it to a desktop or notebook computer and it will sing for you.' Pretty different from the usual USB toys out there. Do you want a cute little bear to rock your world? It can be yours for $47.
Forkless bike looks unique and innovative

The first time I laid eyes on this Forkless Bike, I thought, 'This looks like a road-kill.' On glancing at it for the second time, it struck me that this is a deliberate design and pretty cool. It will certainly make people stop and stare in your direction when you take it out for a ride. I hope it's comfortable like other normal bikes. You should consider making this your ride, because it will help you stay fit and it's good for the environment! The white looks very elegant. If I was more of a bicycle rider, I'd definitely consider owning one.

Gyration’s Air Mouse Elite breathes in air and on land

Gyration has come out with Air Mouse Elite that might not be a pioneer in this field, but it certainly is more different than any we've come across before. It doubles as an air mouse and normal mouse to suit your purpose and needs. When you don't feel like waving about your mouse in air, you can place it on a table for more convenience. It is a nice little motion mouse that has additional buttons below the scroll wheel in a circular pattern. If you are looking to replace your current mouse, I suggest you give this one a shot. It's retailing for $100 by itself and with a keyboard, the package will cost you $150.
Waist Band MP3 player for the active folks

I like music and I like funky belts, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of both of them being combined. A Waist Band MP3 Player sounds nice on paper, but I don't get it. Why not just plop your player into your pocket? Apparently, it is made for those who go hiking. It's a handy waist band a MP3 player with remote control for hikers and campers. It supports two MP3 song sources (Slots): SD Card and Flash Memory. Needless to say that it's hands free. I think I'd rather go for the Hello Kitty MP3 player, but to each his own. This one is available for $33.
Foosball Coffee Table keeps boredom at bay

I like coffee tables that aren't too conventional and that can turn into conversation starters. This coffee table goes a step ahead and turns into a foosball table. This obviously means that it is the most fun coffee table you will ever come across. You can have a round of foosball with your friends any time you wish. Besides this, it is also durable and good looking with solid wood and stainless steel. The price seems a little steep at $600, but it's worth the promise of fun this table makes. You can get it here. You'll probably never be bored with this one around.
Keyboard Sleeve turns your iPhone into a Blackberry

If you are buying an iPhone, I would guess that it's because you want an iPhone and not a Blackberry. That's a pretty safe assumption in my book. So this Keyboard Sleeve that transforms your iPhone into a Blackberry makes no sense to me. Oh well, I'm assuming it's for those who are a little too greedy and want both! I'd say go for the real Blackberry, it's cooler than the iPhone. Believe me!

Sony Walkman S Series pretty in pink

Let me confess that I've been a fan of Sony, so my views here might be a little biased. Sony has recently launched the Walkman S Series which is pretty cool. It comes in two versions of 8GB and 32GB and supports MP3, WMA, ATRAC, PCM AAC and HE-AAC audio and MPEG-4, AVC, WMV video. It's good to know that they have included video playback. You will also find an FM radio tuner and a 2” QVGA LCD monitor. I personally like the colors it's available in. There's no no doubt that I'd go for the pretty pink.
Concrete Clock with shiny goodness

If you are into anything retro in the least bit, you won't want to pass up this Nixie Concrete Clock. It's quite pleasing with its shiny orange Nixie tubes in a reinforced rough concrete body. It gets its inspiration from the vintage Z560M Nixie tubes, used in former East-Germany. I like the idea, because it's so unique and attractive. This clock is wall mountable for convenience as well. Just so you know, the time in the picture reads 10:23:54. I do realise that this might be a little too much shine for some people. So, if simple and minimal is your style, go for the Racing Car Clock.
Roll of film camera makes you nostalgic

Recently, we featured a Film Clock to bring back some nostalgia of an era almost forgotten. Here's another item to refresh your memory about a roll of film. This 35mm film canister is also a camera in disguise. But before you get excited, let me clear up the fact that it isn't a digital one. It's a small point and shoot that pops open to reveal the lens, flash and film holder inside. I personally like the retro look, but I've adapted to the digital a little too well to truly appreciate it. The camera’s controls are located on the side and the top twists to advance the film. In any case, it's nice as a novelty goody.
Hello Kitty Steering Wheels adds some cuteness to your car

We all love us some Hello Kitty here. One of the coolest Hello Kitty rides is the kitty's Tour Bus. However, now you don't have to rely on public transport for your feline friend. You can have her as a part of your set of wheels through this Hello Kitty Steering Wheel. I would have been more excited, but since I don't drive, this one isn't of much relevance to me. But if I was hitching a ride with you and saw this mod, I'd be going absolutely nuts over it. It's pink, it's cute and it's girly. You won't need anything else to pimp up your ride. Enough said!
Flameless color changing candles to set the mood right

The thing I like most about candles in the flame. The warmth and light it exudes fills me up with a nice feeling. So when I first heard about flameless color changing candles by Mooncandles, I was a little apprehensive. However, on closer inspection, I realised that they are pretty cool. They have 4 and 8 hour timers as well as a remote control without the mess of wax. You can pick any color of your choice at GoFrostfire for $5. It's perfect to set the mood for a romantic or relaxing evening. You can soak in your bathtub after a stressful day with these candles in the background.
