Pink taxis run only for the females in Mexico

pink_taxis.jpg
It is a common sight for women being leered by male taxi drivers. In Mexico there is a new fleet of 35 cabs in the colonial city of Puebla, driven exclusively by women and which never stops for men. This cabs cater especially to those females who are tired of leering male drivers. These taxis contain some essentials for the women like a beauty kit, a GPS system and an alarm button. A very good idea of women empowerment which should also be followed in other countries.

Skatekeyboard is a funky ride

skatekeyboard_1.jpg
This is a really unique skateboard that looks like a keyboard on wheels. I'm sure it would help a geek take up skating. The Skatekeyboard will be shown at the BLK River Festival in Vienna next week. It looks really funky with all the neon colors. I don't feel comfortable on wheels like that, but the skateboard excites me anyway.

Lip gloss detects if your drink is spiked

Lip_gloss_detects.jpg These days it's really not safe for girls to go and have a perfect night out, because you keep worrying about your drink being spiked. However, a lip gloss with a drink spike detector is expected to be available soon in Australia. It has a pink taper which is dipped into a drink to test for date rape drugs GHB and ketamine. If the strip turns blue, you know that the drink has been tampered with. The product, an invention of British cosmetics company 2LoveMyLips, has been a hit in Britain since its launch last month. It seems that the product will be made available in vending machines in pubs and clubs which is a very smart idea. So, if you are suspicious about your drink, all you need is this lip gloss to help you out. I'd certainly feel safer.
