Chilled Beauty Products for Extra Sensitive Skin

It’s amazing how the Japs keep inventing cool stuff is it not? I mean first all those cool robots and now cosmetics as well. Not bad for such a tiny country eh? Anyhow, DCH – Japan’s number one direct mail skin care and cosmetics country thinks it has the answer for sensitive skin. This new line called the Chilled Delicate moisturisers are well…as the name suggests, chilled skin care products that are designed to be refrigerated as they contain only fresh and natural ingredients. Okay okay…here are the details. Their line of moisturisers contains dokudami leaves, aloe, and additional plant extracts, plus amino acids and vitamin E. Both the lotion and cream form are designed to maximise moisture retention and are notably free of alcohol, colouring and other possible skin irritants.

The products are manufactured in a 5°C refrigerated factory that meets the same purity standards (class 100) as those used to produce medical supplies. A seven day supply (30mg of the lotion or 15mg of the cream) is available for ¥1,900 ($19 USD) ordered from the DHC site, or conveniently at the local 7/11. If this concept sounds vaguely familiar, its because over two years ago, Nissin Medico, launched a similar product, Chilled for Skin. Seems now like the Japs are re-inventing the wheel eh?
