Lush introduces Palm oil free soap base

All of us who use soap on their body, must certainly know that some of the Soaps contains palm oil which is quite hazardous to the environment. To make way for Palm oil plantations, the existence of wild orangutans is being threatened in Sumatra, native people are being driven out of their land, and peat fired used for clearing plantations on land end up being the largest contributor to the emissions of CO2 in the atmosphere. Who wants all this? Probably cosmetic company Lush, learned of these perilous episodes to create something nature-friendly.
It has spent most of the past year to create a Palm free soap formula that can produce all the foam and they have been pretty much successful in this attempt.
