Balenciaga Fall 2010 inspires the ultramodern 21st-century woman

The Balenciaga Fall 2010 collection is fabricated out of a computer-age vision of couture. It’s quintessential imagery, manipulations of color and materials could put Lady Gaga to shame. The fashion show featured coats that were visually disguising with their Geometric, collaged, stiff yet rounded, and composed of zones of matte and shine, with cashmere dimpled to look like industrial foam. Footwear designed to go with them were block-heeled loafers and brogues with the soles encased in chunks of plastic. The collection is so diverse and complicated that it cannot be put in a genre of designs. Through this design, ‘knitwear’ turns into molded shifts and gathered belted tops laid out in bright beautiful colors.
The design patterns include delicate lace dresses out of machine perforated fabric, trimmed with embroidery. The Balenciaga Collection is sourced around the industrial, scientific, computer-generated possibilities of the 21st century. Although, many of the designs are exaggerated, they blend together to present a design pattern that is aesthetic, recognizably Parisian, chic and of today.
