Converse allows you to customize your shoes

I’m pretty sure that almost every body who is obsessed with footwear has, at some point, dreamt to try their hand at designing their own shoe. Being one of those people myself, you can imagine my delight when I stumbled across Converse’s site that let’s you do exactly that. Technically, you’re not really designing the shoes. The shoes have already been designed but you can customize them to your tastes. WOW! Nevertheless with so many customization options, the shoes you personalize can be nearly as unique as if you had designed them yourself. I have already added this endeavor on my list of “fun ways to spend an afternoon”. At Converse, you can choose from a hi-top to a low, and you also get to choose the body color or pattern, the inside body color, the heel stripe color, the tongue color, the lining color, the rubber sidewall color, the racing strip color, the stitch color, and the lace color. Phew…..I never realized that such a long list of detailing is needed. And to top it all, you can add your personalized text to the heel stripe or the outside low rear.

These personalized shoes are cool on your pockets too as they are reasonably prized at about…..the one we have created for our ‘staff’ (is somebody reading this) is tagged at about $60-$70.
