C-String: Hot or scary?

We are all aware of the G-string, but what is this new C-string? It's a thong without the straps essentially. I find the effect kind of bizarre and feel like it might be extremely uncomfortable. It will be more than welcome by women who aspire to be bold though. It's designed to be worn as lingerie/underwear or can be purchased in a set to be worn as swim wear. I don't know if I could trust it to stay on while swimming. The C-String promises no panty lines or tan lines, but I think comfort is low on its priority list.
