German policewomen are safe with bullet proof bras.

Safety precautions have been taken to a whole new level altogether with the German Police women being issued bullet proof bras. On pondering a little more than your ability, you will realize its a good step taken in the direction of safety measures and not a laughing matter. They have been secretly tested for 2 months and are now ready for delivery. These bullet-resistant bras are made available for 3,000 German police women who are in front-line duty. If a female office is shot wearing just a bullet-proof vest, she can suffer from injuries sustained from metallic or plastic parts of ordinary underwear. The new bras, however, are shielded and mainly made of cotton, polyester, spandex and polyamide.

I know this doesn't make a difference to most girls as these are not available for them but for the sake of awareness, these are available in four different sizes. Each police women can get up to three bras, which are all emblazoned with the word “Polizei”.
