Gwendolyn Huskens designs shoes to reveal the taboos related to physical deformities
|

Gwendolyn Huskens definitely deserves a pat on the back for her contribution towards the handicapped cause. Gwendolyn is a designer studying at the Design academy at Eindhoven, in the department of man and identity. She has very cleverly presented a line of Medic Esthetic shoes during the recent graduation show. With these designs Gwendolyn aims to reveal the taboos associated with the various physical deformities. The shoes have been designed creatively with medical materials and supplies like plaster bandages, steel, and band-aids. The result is a line of functional and oddly stylish shoes. Now this is what we call making a difference. Three cheers to Gwendolyn Huskens for daring to stand apart.
