Lady Gaga is Barbie’s Inspiration!!!
The world has been following Barbie as the ultimate fashion doll who is trendsetting and inspiring but this time it’s Barbie that’s getting inspired by a trendsetter by the name Lady Gaga who needs no introduction. She is the well-known artist who has given us hits like just Dance, paparazzi and Bad romance. Her appearances in concerts and award functions have been creating quite a stir owing to their uniqueness. Photographer Weikang Lu has been a keen observer of her styles and outfits which has resulted in a number of Barbie Dolls that have one the Gaga-way! My own choice would be the one in which she accepts the award for best new artist at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards dressed in a cherry-red lace dress with matching mask. He also re-created the ‘Monster Ball’ version in which Lady Gaga sported an intricate orb.
One moment that I unmistakably bear in mind was seeing Lady Gaga at the Nokia 5800 launch party sporting a tied-with-a-bow hairdo. So it was amusing to be reminiscent of that moment thanks to Weikang Lu’s creation. You can catch many more Gaga inspired dolls in her signature pant-less style and with the weirdest hairdos.
