Official Hello Kitty Plaid Blanket costs a whopping $2000

While I’m an ardent fan of Hello Kitty, even I cannot justify spending $2000 on a mere blanket. For those of you with a fatter wallet, you can take a look at this cashmere official Hello Kitty Tartan plain blanket. I must admit it looks super, but there’s no way it can be worth $2000! The people at Sanrio and Lochcarron have teamed up to produce the most expensive Hello Kitty blanket. It’s 100% cashmere which explains the price tag. The blanket measures 120 by 180 cm (48 by 72 inches) and is made in Scotland by Lochcarron. Hello Kitty makes an appearance on the blanket, but only on a black tag in a lost corner. That isn’t enough incentive for sure! It comes packed in a pretty pink box and includes a certificate of authenticity. I’d rather spend my money on some Hello Kitty Headphones.
