Squaring the Square collection leaves your jaw dropped! In a good way!!!

Remember the ‘Jurk collection’ an attempt to demonstrate transformative fashion? As much as we detested it here is something that is the exact opposite of that by designer Lisa Shahno. Not exactly into transformative fashion but more into pattern making and transforming 2D flats into three-dimensional garments; this collection called ‘SQUARING THE SQUARE’ is fabulous! The designer has created visuals out of fabric that looks divine and diva-like…perfect ensemble for a ‘Gizmodiva’!!!

The complete collection is fashioned from rectangular pieces of fabric in a range of lengths and widths sewn together into sculptural forms. The black cat-woman like outfit steals the show for me…what’s your favorite?
