Squid London's hydro-chromatic umbrella with colours to match your mood
|

UK-based Squid London has developed this ultra-cool umbrella that changes colours when rainwater falls on it. It features hydro chromatic ink and when dry, the umbrella looks a little bland. But as the raindrops do their bit, the colours change into a frenzy of colourful display. Such a pretty discovery. The company has already sold out all the limited edition collection. Hydro chromatic ink according to google is similar to thermo chromatic and photo chromatic inks that reacts to heat and UV lights accordingly. The hydro chromatic, as the name goes, reacts to water.
Update - Video and pricing information added.
No price has been shown on this but this is a space you might want to watch out for.
The Skyline Squidarella Collection is being sold at Beyond the Valley, an art gallery dedicated to new and upcoming talent in the fields of art, design and fashion, located off Carnaby Street, London, and will be stocked at Selfridges from the 30th June.
