Tartan themed Hello Kitties to be launched in September

Scottish favorite- Tartan fabric is now to assemble some more popularity as Sanrio is all set to launch a series of Hello Kitty goods with the theme of British tartan. The series will mark the 35th Birth Anniversary of the beloved feline character and will go on sale in September, both in Japan as well as overseas. Britain being Kitty’s home, the pink tartan was designed by Lochcarron of Scotland, the world’s leading tartan fabric maker. Sanrio stated that the kinds of tartan-themed goods will include stationery bags, sundry items, bags and scarves. The goodies that are available in a price range of $3-$200 will welcome Kitty in an all new avatar.
