Losing even a single sense is a major cause of impediment for the less-endowed folks. This deep embedded encumbrance affects their psychology and their confidence levels consequentially as they’re unable to hear the sweet voices of their loved ones, music, and more importantly sounds like car horns or any other sounds originating from close proximity. But the hearing impaired, now have a new agent to aid them with their impairment, if not eliminate it completely. Vibering, created by designers Kwang-Seok Jeong, Min Hee Kim and Hyun Jung Kim, is a device that fashionably houses a sound detection and identification system to be worn as a pair of rings and a wristwatch.

When the rings are worn on both hands and the ears, they determine distance, position and vibrate according to the source. The watch is automated to listen and interpret key phrases like “Excuse Me”, your name being called and car horns. This a truly outstanding innovation that would help save countless human lives. Bravo!
