Super Mario Tote bag is geeky and fun

mariotote.jpg I love old school gaming and my love for it is dominated for Mario. I also happen to love bags and can never resist picking up a good one. This Super Mario Tote Bag is completely up my alley. It looks big enough to hold your daily essentials. I think you will be bound to attract stares as you walk down the street with this slinked on your shoulder. I can nicely fit my Nintendo DS and other gaming accessories in this tote. It's available for a very affordable price of $15. So I really don't see why anyone would pass it up.

Hello Kitty Superheroes will not save the world

kitty.jpg So Superheroes are supposed to be tough guys, right? Think of Superman, Batman, Hulk, Rorshach, etc. and you'll get a pretty bad ass image. But then we have these superheroes. The Hello Kitty Superheroes! I'm a fan of Hello Kitty, but come on, who will take these superheroes seriously? No offense, but Hello Kitty's job is to be pretty and cute. I can almost see these people in the kitty hero costumes holding the hideous Hello Kitty Chainsaw. Maybe a lot of you will be inspired by these costumes for your next costume party. I think you should stick to Wonder Woman or Catwoman or something. Let the real superheroes save the world, while Hello Kitty sits and looks all lovely.

Retro presents a new line of trendy jerseys called The New Yorker

cyclejacket.jpg
Recently, a pair of jerseys emblazoned with covers from The New Yorker has been launched by Retro which a company that makes cycling apparel. I like the men's jersey that has risen from a 1929 cover by Theodore G. and it features a bicycle race with a heavy Art Deco gloss. The women's jersey seems a little too loud to me and it has been designed by Ann Juan. Apparently, it is trying to depict femininity and strength. If you are really into cycling, you might be excited over this. I really cannot seem to gather any enthusiasm for this line.

BudSock keeps earphones from getting tangled

budsock.jpgI am absolutely horrible when it comes to wire. The kind of tangles I can create are just so mind boggling. You will be better off trying to solve the Rubik's Cube or a Crossword than untangling my mess. This always happens to my headphones. That's why BudSock is perfect for me. It is a simple, eco-friendly design that allows you to stow away your earbuds in your pocket, your bag, or any other place without having them get all tangled. It's really easy to use and will keep you from getting stressed. They are made out of brass with the surface electroplated in silver and the fabric used for the BudSock is 100 percent organic cotton. So you know that you are helping the environment! The only real downside is that you will look a little dorky wearing it around your neck. If you don't mind that then you can get it for $5.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Soap looks delectable

cooliesoap.jpg
There is nothing more inviting than a warm chocolate chip cookie and a glass of cold milk to dip it in. But since I'm on a diet, I can't even think of such sinful things! I do quite notice the absence of cookies in my life though. So, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Soap is really helpful in filling the void. I can't bite into it of course, but it replicates the scent and looks of a real cookie so well. I look forward to getting into the shower even more now. I wish they'd make one shaped like a muffin as well. You can buy the soap for $4 here.

iPod Touch bed linens for your bed

ipod_touch_bedding.jpg
I remember us doing something on a pillow that simulated a bikini clad girl. The polka dots really turned me on then. However, this silly iPod Touch bedding and pillow has nothing of the sort. It just appears to look like a gigantic device when you look at it from a suitable distance, above. A Swedish store thought it appropriate to come up with something like a bedding and pillow combination for geeks. Well, I think it would go well with geeky school kids who indulge in fantasies such as this.

Princess and the Pea alarm clock will drive you out of bed

The alarm rigged inflatable mattress seems like an idea Dilton Doiley would have come up in some oddball Archie adventure. It is nevertheless a idea that was just waiting to happen. The idea is so simple it’s ludicrous. The designer Jeff Saltzman made it really simply. He rigged an alarm clock to an air compressor that he placed under one side of his bed. When the alarm goes off you better be awake or be prepared for a rude awakening, literally! The alarm triggers the air compressor to inflate and tilt the bed so the ‘user’ would just slide off. He’s called his bed the Princess and the Pea Alarm Clock ("PPAC"). Catchy name although the story isn’t quite the same as the reality, but what a way to get rid of pesky guests.
