Did you ever wonder what the difference between the MacBook and MacBook Pro is? Now Apple has made it noticeable with a 17 inches screen for the Pro. Besides this, it comes with a high capacity battery that is non-replaceable. I'll quickly list the important specs for you: 1920 X 1200 LED-backlit display, 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/6MB L2, 4 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, Nvidia Geforce 9400M, Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT / 512 MB, 320 GB hard drive and slot-loading super drive. Besides this, it is a self-proclaimed 'thinnest and lightest' notebook that weighs 6.6 pounds. A nice feature is that you can shell out an additional $50 for an anti-glare coating.

Now here's the most out-standing feature. The battery is a non-removable lithium polymer battery with "three times" the industry standard lifecycle, courtesy of "adaptive charging." It is said to last a more than impressive 7 hours with discrete graphics and 8 hours with integrated graphics. The new Macbook Pro will be available later this month for $2799, but you can start pre-ordering it now.
