Bumpbrella- bumping over poking
|

Now that it’s actually time for the showers to start pouring, we all start digging into our closets for the rain gear. Many of us rush to shop for the hottest new rainwear to complement our latest garments which get dampened by those old outdated umbrellas or coats. Simultaneously, we have all been in situations where umbrellas are everywhere and people are running into one another. Thanks to RKS Design, just get bumped and not poked when you run into another umbrella. A pioneering adaptation of this universal product (umbrella), Bumpbrella is an inflatable umbrella that utilizes a bicycle pump mechanism in the center for the arm. By pumping, it inflates into an umbrella that one can see through, thereby protecting you against the elements and from getting poked by another umbrella.
By turning the handle backwards, it would deflate the umbrella. Adding a touch of fun, three high-output LEDs illuminate decorative markings on the vinyl. The concept for the Bumpbrella is driven completely from the user’s needs and perspectives. No word on the availability or the pricing, so till then bear up with those poking umbrellas!
