For all those who are awaiting the verdict on the latest Canon Powershot E1, your wait is over. Photography Blog has reviewed the entry-level 10-megapixel camera aimed at women and teens to capture all those special moments. The Camera's retro looks don't help to increase its appeal as the reviewers feel the look is too plastic and more like a toy. As for image quality, the E1 predictably packs too many pixels for its sensor, resulting in photos with good resolution, but noise and smearing in anything with fine details. But all's not bad, as it manages to get good points for video quality. The reviewer has very harshly termed this camera a pricier version of the Powershot A580 and also doesn't hesitate to recommend this camera as a first or beginner's camera for every child. So I guess, this baby priced at $183 and available in 3 different colors (white, cyan, girlish pink) is definitely not worth a buy.
