Dell teams up with Nicklodean for a cute netbook
|

Dell and Nicklodean have joined hands to bring to us some netbooks targeted towards the little ones. The Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition isn't going to be anything out of the world as far as specifications go. It is expected to come with the Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Since it's going to be marketed at kids, the software has a lot of parental control courtesy of a 15 month trial version of McAfee. There's ample security and educational applications to keep your children entertained and safe. Also there is the attraction of exclusive early access to certain Nickelodeon episodes before they air. The motifs are great with SpongeBob SquarePants and iCarly in the works, but the slime one is nice too. You can expect it to hit the market in October for about $300. The price isn't fixed, but you can soon check it on Dell's site or Walmart.
