Hello Kitty notebook available in Japan
|

OMG, I think my ultimate dream has just come true. As a fan of Hello Kitty and a bigger fan of computers, the coming together of these two almost brings a little tear to my eye. Courrèges, a French fashion designer, has joined hands with NEC in order to create the NEC LaVie G Hello Kitty Courrèges to make the cutest pink notebook ever. The girl in me loves the look of this notebook, but the geek in me cannot quite get excited about the specs. It is by no means below average as far as the configuration goes, but I had gotten my hopes up. It comes with a 1.90GHz AMD Athlon QL-60 processor, 2GB memory, 160GB hard drive and a 13.3-inch WXGA screen. It seems like a perfect notebook for a girl.
The Hello Kitty Notebook is set to hit the market on October 25 for $1000 and by October 28, it comes with some free goodies, which include a Hello Kitty, mouse and mouse pad. Unfortunately, it is only available in Japan.
