LG’s Panorama-the first high definition fridge with loads of technology stashed inside
|

If you got an idle sum of $3999 lying in your bank and you’ve thought of becoming a spendthrift, you could get this LG innovation home. We don’t feel the need of an embedded HD TV in your fridge is the need of the hour. But Technology giants re always engaged in creating milestones and thereby surpassing one another. The LSC27990 proudly called the Panorama, sports a LCD TV and Weather & Info Center. Apparently the fridge even does some of your thinking, incase you lack the pre-requisites (Pardon the Pun). The Weather & Info Center will tell you the weather to dress for. The Ambient weather service provides a five-day forecast for your area (where service is available). List of recipes, digital photo frame, touch-sensitive digital controls are some of the award-wining features.
The 15-inch display has its own ATSC tuner and next to it is a secondary display that shows weather, calendars, or your own photos (which you upload via the fridge's USB port). I wonder why we need such high definition refrigerators when all we use it for is to store our leftovers.
