Logitec LDS-Ri700 iPod dock

Logitec Japan has partnered with Teac Corp for a Hi-Fi system with an iPod dock and the result is the LDS-Ri700. The 65mm speakers feature analog acoustic technology as well as DBSS (Dynamic Bass-Boost Sound System) which increases the treble quality. The unit includes a built in AM / FM radio and a LCD display using which you can program it to wake you up by playing your favourite tunes from the iPod or the radio. The dock can be connected to the TV using the Video out terminal so you can view flicks on the iPod on the big screen. With the remote control you can catch your favourite tunes or movie by relaxing on the sofa.
The Logitec LDS-Ri700 will come in white and black it measures 320×171×179mm and weighs 1.5 kg. Alas it will be available in Japan only from September for 19,800 Yen ($ 170).
