Mike Ming adds a young touch to Dell's Special Art Edition Studio laptops
|

The last time I hit a computer store, I saw these special edition art design HP laptops. I thought they were kinda cool. Now, I read that Dell has a similar idea to go creative with their notebook designs. This Specual Art Edition is for Studio 15 and Studio 17 laptops. For the special designs, Dell turned to artist Mike Ming and it is a general opinion that his designs will appeal more to the younger generation. I haven't had a chance to view the designs but I'm already liking the creative names. They are "Red Swirl", "Seaweed", "Sunburst", "Bunch O Surfers" and "Sea Sky". Just based on the names, I'd go with Sea Sky. Even if the cover of this laptop is different, the insides retain the original specifications. This includes built-in webcam, capacitive touch media control buttons, slot load drives, and optional mercury-free LED displays, backlit keyboards and built-in mobile broadband.
If Dell's Special Art Edition laptops designed by Mike Ming appeals to you then they are open for orders from today. The deals start from about $830.
