Mint BMP#2: A taximeter that is reminiscent of childhood nostalgia
|

One could never be weary of the proverb “Old is gold” because it manifests itself time and again through small little instances that reminds us of our innocent days spent in peace. In this case I am referring to the dear ol’ Taximeter that read “For Hire” as soon as we were seated. These might have been replaced by the Digital meters nowadays, but the sweet memory of the dilapidated taximeter still lives on. Apparently, the inventor of the BMP#2 Taximeter shares the same thought as ours, for having created an imitation of the Taximeter (Bedside Multimedia Player) with bedroom functions like time/alarm/radio.
The upper panel displays the time of the day and the lower panel displays the set radio frequency. The most exciting piece of the Taximeter is the part when you have to turn up the red plate reading “Wake up” and turn it down when you switch off the alarm.
