Next Generation Wii is rumored to hit the market in 2011

Attention Nintendo Wii enthusiasts! There is some rumor and gossip about the Wii that should interest you gamers. There is talk about the next generation Wii floating around and we didn't want you to be clueless about this Wii little rumor. It is to hit the market in 2011 if the internet is to be believed. So, it's going to be a long wait. The press is saying, "The upcoming console, tentatively referred to as the "Wii HD," is said to be based on entirely new hardware that will pump out HD visuals, contain expanded storage and run using digitally distributed content rather than physical discs, which is something widely rumored for all of the next-gen consoles." HD huh? What are you going to do now Microsoft and Sony? Looks like the Wii will edge out its competition if it ups the performance. Maybe serious gamers will start taking a closer look at it and bigger games will head to Nintendo.

I hope the rumor isn't just a rumor. I'm a Nintendo fan and this news excites me. But Nintendo has lied before! Remember the Wii was to be available in many colors? I was waiting for my pink! Oh well, let's hope the internet
