Nike Speed+ watch will get rid of iPod

If you’re an enthusiastic runner, then Nike is almost all set to woo you once more. It appears that, Nike is geared up to release a new digital watch that can record and upload data from their Nike+ shoe sensors without the use of an iPod. Literally speaking, it’ll take the place of the iPod in the Nike+iPod. The watch will wirelessly receive distance, pace, and other data from the Nike+ sensor on to the shoe and display it on its backlit LCD screen, also giving the option to offload that data for uploading to the nikeplus.com website.

Nothing officially has been announced yet, but a visitor to the Nike Store Europe website snapped a screenshot of a new Nike product, Nike Speed+, just before it was removed from the site. Seems good, but what about the hunger for music that is unavoidable while running.
