Nook: Simple and efficient touch reader

Word on the street was that Nook was all set to be the next big thing in the world of tablets. Apparently, everyone thought it would turn out to be extremely high powered. To those who expected that, there’s going to be some disappointment as Nook is about as simple as it can get. That’s not something to complain about as it does its job sufficiently as a touch reader. Sometimes simple is just what the doctor has ordered. It features a six-inch touchscreen e-Ink Pearl display, built-in Wi-Fi, internal storage for up to 1,000 books with a micro SD port for expansion, battery life of up to two months, and a svelte design with a soft touch back. I personally think it looks sleek and handsome. There’s simplicity to it that’s very appealing. Most people are sick of super complicated devices anyway. I have big hopes for the Nook and hopefully it’ll be a big hit. You can buy it for $140 here.
