Panasonic presents fashionable range of SZ1 and SZ7 FS HD digital cameras
If you prefer cameras that can easily slip into your pocket, you’ll have a lot of options to choose from this year. Panasonic is planning to launch five new cameras at CES in Las Vegas in March 2012. The first two of the FS range are the DMC-SZ1 and DMC-SZ7. Both have a 10x optical zoom, full HD video recording and a 25mm ultra wide-angle Lecia DC lens. The total depth of the cameras is 21mm and this includes the lens barrel. A 50i 1080p video recording feature with a USB charging option helps your battery keep up with you. An Auto Retouch button lets you adjust the brightness and contrast of the settings instantly. The distinctive iA (Intelligent Zoom) and iHDR feature scene mode automatically sets to get you the best HDR pictures possible.
The DMC-SZ1 has a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor that has the latest Panasonic Venus Engine (VII HD) and Sonic Speed AF. A 14.1 megapixel MOS sensor is also present in the camera. Other artist modes in the camera include a Creative control and a Creative retouch. The Instagram effect is a ‘Toy Effect’ that makes your pictures seem like they have been taken from a toy camera. Soft focus, Dynamic Monochrome, High Key, Retro and Expressive are additional effects that you’ll get with the camera. So customise your shots and make them appear exactly the way you want them to from now on. The colour options for this camera are black, silver, red and violet. The DMC-SZ7 model will only be available in black, and brown.
The famous panoramic sweep shot function is also present in both the cameras. All you have to do is press the button and move the camera in the direction in which you want your full shot. All the models are stylish, slim and easy to carry around. The upcoming DMC-S5, the 16.1 megapixel DMC-FS45 and the 14.1 megapixel DMC-FS40 models will have fewer features as compared to these two.
