Robotmouse features steampunk underpinnings
|

For those of you who have a thing for steampunk, you have to check out the Robotmouse by Aaron Ristau. It's quite a unique computer mouse, definitely more different than my conventional one. The handmade mouse features a round body design and moves across the desktop with a “go-cart like handling”. It is a fully-functional optical mouse, complete with retro typewriter “L” and “R” buttons, an archaic scroll wheel, and a glowing red light that illuminates the palm of the user’s hand. Sounds pretty nice to me. I find it pretty strange that you have to stick you pinky finger into the copper loop when you are using the mouse. It doesn't make that much sense to me. Anyway, I think at $300, this is a little too pricey for me. I'll stick with my traditional mouse.
