SMELLIT bring out the smells from your movie

With all the advances in technology injected into our multimedia systems, there have been enough hypnotizing improvements in the way we see and hear stuff during movies. Here’s something that can bring to life the sense of smell during a movie. Say ‘hello’ to SMELLIT. This printer-like device has 118 cartridges, each with a different smell. When you play a DVD in your ROM, SMELLIT just a few seconds before the current play time and activate a cartridge, whose smell matches the scene that is approaching. For example, if the scene is that of a bomb blast then SMELLIT will probably give out smells of dust, gun powder and probably sweat.

How SMELLIT reads and detects which smell should be secreted at what part of the movies is quite remarkable. However, I really dread watching any South Park episode that has Terrence and Philip in it. I’m quite sure there’s a fart essence in there too.
